Media DC responding to JLeon's smoke on TWood

I see the reasoning and respectfully disagree.

Im not saying its not possible but i think its highly unlikely.
Boxing by its nature is a highly repetitive sport. What often differentiates that elite of the elite is insane work ethic. Theres only so many ways to throw a punch so the guy who practiced more will have an advantage.

Boxer vs Boxer thats not a big deal but mma fighters have so many disciplines to learn theres simply not enough time to dedicate to master boxing to the same level.

It is possible one day we will see a high level mma fighter perform well at that level but i dont think the skill will ever be close unless the mma fighter dedicates a considerable amount of time to boxing.

As is MMA fighters will use boxing for circus fights and big paydays. Boxers will beat up mma fighters for big paydays, and easy work.

Because there are a lot of fighers that are boxing based and use their boxing skills primarily to win fights. There are olympic level wrestlers, world champion bjj, kickboxing champions in mma, etc. We had Overeem go from MMA to win kickboxing championships at the elite level. We need someone from mma be able to do that in boxing as well. Seems like mma fighters can get their skill levels to compete with the elite levels in other disciplines except boxing. I just think people assumed the skill difference wasn't that different between mma boxing and pro boxing. I think recent fights are opening up people's eyes a bit. I'm sure fighters are learning from this and working even more on their boxing now. I figured it out during the Conor and Floyd fight and started focusing on boxing myself after that fight. That's when I realized the skill difference between high level mma boxing vs elite level boxing.

You can say that about any specialist art. Doesn't make them less skilled.
Not calling them less skilled. A pro boxer moving well is a graceful sight
Just saying they ll get beat up on a one-one fight

The only real way to fight JLeon is in boxing in Triller. If Woodley wants a nice pay day he would take the JLeon fight if he can't get the Jake Paul fight. Asking to fight in mma after seeing the fight purse in Triller doesn't make sense. The money is in the Triller boxing ring for Woodley. Plus that's the fanbase he wants to reach is the Triller fan bases. Shifting away from Triller when he has an opportunity there doesn't make sense for Woodley's career moving forward if he's not going to be in the UFC.

Not talking about the money. You don't tell someone "You know you can't fuck with me dog" and then say "Yeah we can fight if you want to, but we're only going to punch".

Weak mentality.

How convinient to call out another wrestler who cant strike (he got hit with the same body shot 15 times in a row by Stipe with no answer to it.)

Fuck it, I'll watch it.

Cormier vs Jake Paul
Woodley vs J Leon

That is a banger.

Throw JDS on the undercard for good measure.

He was calling out Jake Paul to a boxing fight. JLeon said fight him instead. So it's Woodley with the original boxing call out. If you are willing to box Jake Paul you should be willing to box JLeon too.

Unless it happens it's hypothetical. Everything looks good on paper but fights prove it doesn't work like that in real life. Boxers have street fighting experience too and street fights are different and doesn't always look like the mma fights that people think they will look like. The street fights with Khabib and his people were all striking when they fought Diaz bros. Khabib threw punches at Danis, his people threw punches when they jumped Conor. Most street fights are striking and stand up and not really much grappling. Usman fought standing up in his street fight in an event and he wasn't wrestling.

Boxers have street fighting experience. Just look up boxers and listen to their background before going into boxing. Most talk about street fighting. This is Caleb Plant street fighting when he was younger. MMA community keeps talking about street fighting but that is common for boxers and they are used to that type of stuff. That's why you see more street type fighters in boxing and not really in mma.

Street fighting it's open game. I wouldn't count any one out. Plus boxers have more street fighting experience overall. MMA is filled with more athletes and sport fighters. It's not like boxing where most grew up street fighting and learned to fight that way before learning how to box.

You think a boxer can defend a take down just because its a street fight? One leg kick and the boxer would be done. There's a reason why you never seen a boxer challenging an mma guy to a all out fight.

Woodley is actually pretty well spoken, I don't understand why you are saying that he talk like a low IQ.

Plus lol at Woodley being racist. We are litteraly talking on a thread about Woodley having a beef with another black man cause he wants to defend his white friend (Askren)
Woodley is well spoken?
Lol. Okay.
