I mean he was SO confident, he was talking like it was in the bag FOR SURE. From saying that we'll have a new champ Saturday to saying he would take Jon Jones down 100 times.

He is probably literally speechless right now. His talk even had ME believing him! He needs to be like his training partner and just keep silent and don't be overconfident.

The more he was talking the more rebound effect he now gets in return. I hope he recovers well.

You must be joking. You think DC was in all this just for the money? Fuck no, it was his pride, his pride of being undefeated losing no rounds, all that was lost tonight, his promise to his camp, to his family.

You're missing the big picture. DC is a good guy and he's very passionate about being the champ.

There's a HUGE difference between balanced confidence, not making yourself look like a fool, and OVER confidence. I guess you've never heard DC talk before.
 
At the end of the day, he is a badass Olympian Strikeforce champion who just made a ton of money and will continue to be set for the rest of his life as an elite coach and analyst.

Not Vitor. He actually had Jon in some deep trouble with that arm bar. Cormier never once had Jon in any real danger.
 
He actually is crying in his interview with helwani right now. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Agreed. I hope he's able to rebound mentally. He's gotta be feeling pretty bad right now.

It's safer to be a sports analyst. Let's be honest sure he wants to be champ and he's a great fighter, but he'll have better health and probably make money over the course of a career.

Confident is fine and I agree, but he went way above that. I really was looking forward to this match until he started with all this crap then he just got annoying
