Anyone who don't get depressed after losing a title fight shouldn't be fighting

He should retire IMO. He's already old and there's really nothing left for him to do in MMA.

Of course he's broken. He just lost the biggest fight of his career and made himself look like an idiot in the process.

He set himself up for this huge disappointment.

That's the thing about competition though. It's not we are all equal. Someone is better than you, and it sucks to know that.

Bones broke him badly, it is going to take a long time to recover from the shock of realizing that someone is that much better than you when you think that you are the best in the world

Feel bad for Cormier in the press conference. Cormier will be a solid top 3 at lhw for a while but I dont think he really has much for Jones.

I think Jones even feels a bit bad for Cormier right now.

    No, he's right.

He can't beat Jones or Cain. He can stick around and fight guys that isn't for a title, but I think he's in it for the gold. He's 36 and has a great job commentating. Why fight?

I hate to say it but I feel like you're right to a degree. I know theres still fun fights left for him but honestly he can only go down from here. He will never beat cain, he will probably be 37 before he can get another title shot at LHW and MW isn't happening. I'd rather him go out like the boss that he is than stick around too long. He's one of my favorites. I say give him a winnable fight against a top 10 guy and ride off.
