You are not very intelligent if you don't see the reason for this: First, being a UFC Champ does not stop bullets, blades, baseball bats, gangs, or whatever else may come at him. Second, the fact he's a champ also puts a target on him, he'd be a great trophy for someone. Third, realize he beat their hero (silva) a couple years back so it's not like He can assume everyone is a friend.
