Love or hate DC, that was probably the best comeback of the whole press conference. The seriousness and abrupt nature of it was comedy gold, you could see Jon just get flummoxed. Lol
 
DC honestly got the best of him during the whole thing IMO.
 
They will probably talk lots leading up to this and DC thinks he has plenty of ammo for Jones, all the talking doesn't mean shit though, there is only one reason for bragging rights between these two men

Jon owned him in the verbal exchanges.
Jon came off as funny while DC came off as bitter and jealous.
So DC is sober, like Jon said "good for you".
DC was pretty much pleading with the audience to love him and hate Jon.
It was pathetic.
 
If I have to choose between Nate beating Conor and DC beating Jones I'm taking DC over Jones. DC is a walking definition of a sportsman and I don't understand how he doesn't have more fans.
 
DC is way to emotional guy. He just need to ignore everything about Jones and just prepare for the fight. That's his best chance of winning.

I was rooting for him to beat Jones the 1st time but now I want Jones to beat him again.

DC got pretty cocky and annoying after winning his fake belt.

Completely agree, the man is a great fighter. Comes to finish, and always gives it his all. What he does to hype fights and trash talk is no big deal. He took out two of the most dangerous contenders in the LHW division and did it in spectacular form. Hardly someone who should be boo'ed.
 
I thought DC was pretty awful at the press conference actually. He just isn't a trash talker so his idea was to passive aggressively get Jones to bash him? That was supposed to work on a crowd that likes trash talk?
 
I enjoyed how Jon kept asking what's he saying. Now Jon can clearly hear him and fucking Dana actually starts telling Jon what he's saying. Dana didn't understand that joke? lol WTF
 
I still say the only reason he got booed was because he picked Nate to win on UFC Live on Wednesday.

The Conor fans were booing for that, I think.
 
If by sober you mean salty, then yes... DC is sober.

DC has always been jealous of Jones. He's going to lose again, and he knows it. Knowing he's only the champ by virtue of Jones' misfortune, and about to lose his title to him very soon I'm sure just irritates the shit out of Cormier.

Yeah he showed great sportsmanship when he grabbed Jones by the throat and started the brawl or threatened to spit in his face.

He was too emotional. UFC 194 Aldo type emotional. He acts like he can't believe Jones has fans. The man who dominated the division for 7 years is going to have fans.

Why would you have to choose between those two outcomes??? Makes no sense.

Also, DC doesn't have more fans because he actually HAD them at one point, but slowly lost/is losing them by constantly crying and trying to make Jones look bad.

I still kind of like him and think he's pretty funny at times. Not really when he's talking about Jones, but Luke when Weidman told Luke to quit reading out of DCs playbook and DC was like 'whoa! Weidman, I thought we were cool, what the hell'

Trying your hardest to convince the audience that he shouldn't be booed and that Jon is the one that deserves to be booed is pathetic in my opinion. That's not being a sportsman.

He should have said something like "yeah, you're booing me now but after you watch me whoop Jon, you'll be cheering".
Instead he said (paraphrasing here), "why don't you love me?", "I'm sober and good", "Jon is evil", "you should hate Jon".

It was embarrassing.
