DC Has Pulled Out of Two Fights This Year. Has Any Other Champion Done That?

It's DC, he's one of the closest things to a good guy there is in this sport.

And missing a rematch with Rumble doesn't matter, cause DC can just drag him to the ground and have his way with him whenever he wants.

So now that he has a belt it's cool for him to get injured all the time?

He knows he can't carry a card and he didn't want to cut during the Holidays, imo.

Aldo.

Pulled out of the McGregor rematch when RDA pulled out.

Pulled out of the Max fight so they had to bring in Showtime.

DC never pulled out of a resturant

dc dont get too much shit for it due to how bad the lhw division is

DC is getting old, and training at AKA is starting to take it's toll on him. After he beats Rumble in the rematch, he will be relieved of his burden when Jones returns in July. DC should be commended for holding down the fort while Jon sorts out his personal/legal issues, Daniel has done an excellent job as under boss.

Think of the money this dude has cost himself. I know he has a fox gig but it peanuts to what he'd make main eventing a ppv

Was just trying to understand if you were just stating that as the most likely explanation or if you were defending him and thought it was a valid excuse.

Because it's not
Oh lol, no I don't think it's a valid excuse.

Weidman pulled out of Vitor matches about 10 times in a row

He'll have fought 3 times in 2 years. One was to a guy coming off a vicious 1st round KO loss, the next to a guy who hasn't won in 4 years, and the last in one good opponent in Rumble.

He's been about the worst paper champ ever.

Weidman.. Pettis. Velasquez.. yes, a few champions have

At least he pulled out with an actual injury, a certain someone just becomes "obsessed" with rematching pointless fights.

I was being sarcastic. But to be fair, those are three good wins. One of which was one of the best title fights in LHW history. Anderson may not be what he once was, but he is still dangerous. There were not a ton of options for him at 205. There's Bader and Glover, but no one else worth mentioning.

Not accepting a short notice fight isn't pulling out. If we're doing this, Conor pulled out of 200.

DC is practically 80 in fighter years and he trains at fucking AKA. It's a goddamned shame.

Aldo has defended twice a year with few exceptions despite his injuries and that motorcycle accident awhile ago.

Champs get injured just like non-champs lol. That's MMA pre and post-USADA...
