DC Explains 'Crying' Incident

Agree with DC, he shouldn't bring old training shit up. But he needs to do that to hype the fight up, otherwise people will think DC is fighting a nobody.

DC and Pat wrestled and DC lost. He wanted to have another match, but the coach told him no, his olympic chance was gone. DC was going through some personal stuff (lost his daughter) and thought his olympic chances were over, so he broke down and cried. He later beat Pat in a real match 7-0.

DC seems like such a solid dude. He really has it together mentally, he doesn't deny something that could be embarrassing in the meathead worldview, he looks at it honestly and rationally so it doesn't move him in a bad direction, so he doesn't go full Babalu on the guy.

I met Cormier at UFC 160 and the guy is as cool and awesome as they come. Really, really down to Earth, all-around good dude. Breaks my hurt to see him get bashed on here when if they met the guy they'd completely change their minds.
 
Thanks for the vid. I appreciate the explanation, so I guess Pat went full Barista tard on DC, but it definitely makes it more interesting, as a day or two ago most if anyone had no idea who Pat Cummins was- now we do.

I would just love to see a great match and Pat give everyone a surprise coming from nowhere to a fight of the night.

It is just a lot of dumb young guys on here thinking if a guy doesn't act like an action hero then he is soft. In reality, when they grow up and get married, they will all be holding their girl's purses at the outlets every Sunday afternoon for the next 40 years.
