DC actually used the Seagal wrist lock & tossed Jones into the cage

Steven Seagal taught Kimura the shoulderlock he used to beat Helio Gracie.

That seems like an illegal move. At the very least it is Above the Law.

The thing about modern mma is that their aren't enough wrist lock type moves performed. I think it's because of the hand wraps and gloves. It prevents tweaking of the wrists. Where as the ankle Locks work because they aren't wrapped and gloved.

Are We Out for Justice? Feels like we and the rules are just Under Siege and when Ref screws up calls like Sat night.. we are all
On Deadly Ground..thanks to Dana's Executive Decision at least he will get his win money.. back to the topic by the time Dc used the move he was
Half past deadso in the end JOnes was just Out of Reach :icon_twis

"Anybody seen Richie? Anybody know why Richie did Bobby Lupo?"

Seagal is baws, but DC should've opted for that Chuck Norris rotating flying kick instead and he'd have the belt now

A wrist lock would have been a nice touch, there - but they don't work with taped up wrists/hands.

Ive been telling people seagal is legit. Everyone was saying that NOTHING from aikido can be used in mma, yet DC does a judo move and gets jones off his back. +1 for aikido. Aikido was derived from judo, so many of the moves look familiar.

Dont worry, wrestling nutthuggers will claim it to he a wrestling move or something, even though nothing has been done ever in the ufc similar to that.

What came first, the judo throw or the hip toss. Sure it might have existed in ancient greece, but it also existed in ancient japan. They didnt learn it from each other.

When machida throws a punch, it may look like a right cross, and people will call it a right cross from boxing. Who invented punching, who knows.

it was an arm drag which is very common in wrestling....and judo (derived from japanese jj) has been around about 100 years.
