I disagree. It's ok to ask a girl, "what you feel like doing?", "what kind of food you fancy eating?" And then making a decision based on that ... Just be decisive and pick a place and just don't deliberate on it for too long to the point it gets weird.

Have some solid ideas before hand.
 
I know I shouldn't be, but I'm still annoyed over the situation. She aggressively pursued me and then flaked. Thinking about what happened, the last thing she texted me was to text her a picture of myself. That was on my lunch break last Friday. I responded when I got home, like 4 hours later. Was she pissed I waited "so long" to respond?

Before people come in with jokes that my ugly mug scared her off- she had already seen pictures of me on the website.

This is crazy. Pretty much the same thing happened this last week. On Sunday another woman (who also was a college volleyball player!) messaged me and started talking to me. We texted Monday. Yesterday I was going to ask her if she wanted to meet this weekend. I said "Hey ____ how are you?" Haven't heard back. WTF?

Just to add to this, speed is an underratted factor in online dating. Don't trade messages back and forth before waiting to get her number or something. If she responds to your message, reply, give her your number and tell her to text you. Any girl who doesn't look completely busted is probably getting tons of messages every day. They have to filter that noise, so if they don't get back to you its because they don't have the time to softly reject dozens of guys a day. Don't take it personal.
It's 2 different games for guys and chicks. Guys need to produce volume and act quickly, girls need to filter and be selective.

Don't start in on what you do in the War Room. She might send a text part way through and suddenly have to leave when she gets an emergency call and a loved one is in the hospital.
 
Mini golf is a great choice. Its not something that really requires skill (I've seen some people mention pool), its casual but personal, its different than just the typical dinner/drinks or movie (which is probably the worst choice). Coffee is a horrible choice as well unless you want a quick out, but personally I think thats shitty, and wouldn't even bother with a coffee date.

This is truth. Guys must do volume. Women must rapidly screen volume based on random factors. Don't take it personally.
