Wow! Great to hear he is doing so well. His dad was a monster back in the day. Nice to see him interested in wrestling, i wonder if he does BJJ.
Im real excited to see if 4 years from now he is going to get into MMA, as Daruckus mentioned he is wrestling at NC state next season, but MMA is in his bloodline.
As for if he does BJJ, I am going to have to play "connect the dots" and I will work through it out loud.
If anyone has knowledge of his BJJ rank and whatnot let us know.
Been following him since last year and here are the things I do know, from articles about him. Started wrestling as a sophomore, by the end of his Junior Year he placed 2nd at state by a margin of 5-4 (I think) but his opponent was awarded 1 point before the match even started because Josh did not have his shoes taped.
At the end of his season he placed top 6 at folkstyle nationals, of course this year state champ.
The school he wrestled for his Junior season is in Naples, which is "close" to Miami but by close I mean 2+ hours away. To my knowledge his father is in Miami where he has schools.
This year he earned his state title at Cardinal Gibbons which IS in Miami.
Anyway, the fact that he is Conan's son and how well and how quickly he took to wrestling I am going to assume he has at least some BJJ.
