Darren Till Interview: predicts a 3rd knockout against Stephen Thompson at UFC Liverpool

I still have no clue about how Till will deal with this step up in competition.

The Cerrone win was impressive but more because of strategy. He jumped on a guy who's a slow starter and whom he had a significant size advantage over.

I don't think that this is good matchmaking. If WB goes out there and nullifies him or stops him embarrassingly, that's a hotshit prospect/contender killed off for no reason.
 
Utterly ridiculous, IMO.
Wonderboy will knock him out much, much quicker than that.

You cold be right, but you have to say fair play to Till for really pushing for this fight. It's a really difficult one and he's been really banging the drum to get it.

Oh definitely. The guy has balls.

Wonderboy deserves credit too. He took the highest profile fight that was available to him instead of sitting on his ranking, which is something that a lot of guys are doing at the moment.

Really thought it wasn't going to happen in the end, to be honest. Didn't seem like Wonderboy's camp wanted it. Fair play to him for taking it in the end.
 
I could see it looking like the Whittaker fight where Whittaker was feeling good about how his striking would fair against Thompson until he got in there. Thompson by round 2 tKo

Why didn’t he knock out Jessin Ayari? Lower level of competition and similar karate style to Thompson.

Dude had his hands down the entire fight and Till couldn’t finish him.

I like Till though, but I sometimes question his killer instincts.
 
Hope Wonderboy knocks his ass out.

Woodley sat back and forced Wonderboy to lead then tried to counter with a quick rushing flurry. Wonderboy moves straight back and Woodley's speed allowed him to land shots. I'm not sure Till has the foot speed to do something similar. Probably better to pressure Wonderboy into the cage and counter when he tries to escape. Tough to do without Wonderboy kicking his head off.(Hendricks) Till had a problem with leg kicks vs Veličković (another lefty). I'd look for Wonderboy to frustrate Till with kicks, and possibly get the tko when Till tires in the 3rd.
 
Till be sucking wind and swinging at air by the 3rd round

Tills ufc record so far really isn’t that impressive. No idea how expectations are already so high purely off the cowboy fight and with all the shit he’s been chatting I do kind of hope he gets humbled.

Till doesn't have great finishing ability. When he hurts someone he goes into button mashing mode, throwing wild flurries, not picking his shots for a finish.
 
Till will leave the octagon in a body bag.
