Darren Till cutting weight

I'm sick of the weight cutting excuses to be honest. I know Till isn't making excuses, he took the blame. In general though, we always hear "this guy went blind", "this guy almost died", "this guy fainted" etc. As a whole this needs to stop. What is the point of having weight classes when guys miss weight every event? Isn't the stat: "fighters who missed weight in 2018 are 8-0" or something? That's ridiculous.

Either manage your diet so you don't have to cut 20+ lbs, or move up a weight class. The fans and opponents are getting robbed.

It's really just stupid.

Guy has missed weight twice in his last 4 fights, and openly boasts about being a LHW fighting at welter.

He nearly kills himself each time trying to fight smaller guys.

haha, I love how this shit is even legal. People cry about PEDs but here we have evidence guys are circumventing the point of weight classes by dehydrating themselves temporarily.

Should we call it weight-cutting or Division-cutting?

After Lee, Dern and Till, it's up to the UFC to strongly recommend that they permanently move up. Protects the fighter's health and doesn't lead to cards having last minute issues.

What I want to know is how can I get paid to stand around with ten other guys watching one guy walk on a treadmill.

Most of them say "well not to make an excuse, it's on me, but...." and then something about running out of time, sauna not open, body just stopped losing water, Dern trying so hard (LOL), etc.

As bad as it was for Conor at FW, at least he made it every time. And Chael at MW had a tough cut, but he was also a professional and never missed it once. Same with Benson. And there's lots of others, but it seems these days either guys are cutting even more weigh than those huge cuts, or they are just unprofessional and there isn't enough downside to get all the way down.

Take it easy on him guys...cutting weight is much harder for light heavyweights than it is for little 170ers
