So after a couple years off of gaming i jumped back in this week and grabbed a ps4.

Having been a huge Souls fan these two games are on top of my list to grab.

So which one is better? Right now I'm leaning towards grabbing Bloodborne first. It just seems like DS3 will be more of the same, not a bad thing, and Bloodborne looks brilliant.

Bloodborne is unique and my favorite game of this generation, plus you can get it cheaper, with the dlc ,so go for that and afterwards you can still get DS3.

I really loved DS3 but it has to probably be Bloodborne. The lore is incredible, the combat fast paced and technical, the enemies terrifying and the bosses insane, not to mention the Hunters Axe <3.

Both are better. No, seriously, I can't honestly decide, just get both. Dark Souls 3 first would be a smart choice since the game just came out and the player base is huge atm.

I haven't played DS3 yet, I'm picking it up next weekend as a birthday present to myself. However, I did play through Bloodborne and it was really good. I've played the entire series since Demon's Souls and Bloodbourne is just as good as any of them.

I would say go with Bloodborne if you want to try something a little different because it does have a very different feel to it.

Get bloodborne first, and then dark souls immediately afterwards.

I'd agree with this. Get in DS3 now if you like to co-op or pvp.

BB is incredible though. Definitely my favorite in the series. Feels familiar enough to the Souls series but the combat is something else.

And whatever you do make sure you get The Old Hunter's DLC!

I love BB, but love DS3 too.

Both look and play amazing, I would have to say that there are much more secrets and pieces to the story hidden in BB, as well more challenging bosses and I love the pace of combat, it's so quick, more than DS2, but DS3 is quite close to BB. The DLC for BB is amazing too, it features two of the most epic bosses/boss ost's in BB.

But definitely get DS3 too, it is better for online play and fight clubs etc, and there is a far bigger variety in play styles, with classes, weapons, armor, skill moves and boss weapons.

Go for both!

Both are great, but I personally prefer Bloodborne more aggressive combat

I'd say Dark Souls 3. I finished DS3 not too long ago and finished Bloodborne this weekend. Bloodborne has a better setting and I like the bosses better, but the way it handles healing sucks (had to farm blood vials periodically), and warping to a hub to get to another area really blows. Not to mention once you finish Bloodborne, you can't just clean up areas you missed, like you can in DS3, you have to start NG+, where DS3 you can stick around in NG to help others or find stuff you missed.

Bloodborn for me. Such a well polished game from the bosses to the levels to the uniqueness of each weapon. Ds3 is cool but I'm already seeing the superiority of BB. Might be my favorite game of all time.

They better make a Bloodborne 2. I know the creator said he was not going to make a sequel but somebody needs to kidnap his family or something and force his hand.

I agree. Bloodborne is probably my GOAT game but DS3 is amazing and the community is still very active so there's lots of coop and pvp action.

While it's true that Bloodborne dumps you right into NG+, I always bone out of the Moon Presence fight after I beat Gehrman and do my clean up then.
