First, he calls the Anderson Silva fight the easiest fight of his career. Second, in the second embedded video he says that if he fights well he'll embarrass Rumble and if he fights bad it'll be competitive. He also said that he can take his punches. This guy is letting the championship go to his head. This fight that first round KO written all over it for Rumble.

Is the end of the paper champ?
 
Well the Anderson fight was easy and he's already made relatively light work of Rumble and knows his weaknesses, believe it or not self confidence is a positive thing for a fighter...

He's getting complacent. He basically took 2016 off and he's writing off Rumble for this fight.

If you say so. I for one hope AJ ko's him in the 2nd or 3rd. I like DC but i'd prefer to see AJ go on a tear at the top until Jones is back

The Rumble win makes him more than a paper champ I'd say, a victory over the third best LHW of this era who Jones hasn't beaten.

He was going to fight Jones and Jones tested positive, why is he the paper champ now? If Jones doesn't fight him, it's not his fault. He is a legit champ now. I say that as a Jones nuthugger and I do believe Jones beats him again in the rematch. This paper champ thing is ridiculous though. If he was the one responsible for their rematch being canceled, I could see people saying that because he lost to Jones but it isn't fair now.
 
Pfft the only title fight on saturday im interested in involves a man with hoofs. Lets call him manhoef

I guess my point is that Cormier never licked Jones, as they say. Neither did he cream him, as they say.

Yeah but what exactly is he supposed to do if Jones fucks up? We can't keep calling him paper champ if he is willing to face Jones but can't do it because of Jones fuck ups. I definitively believe Jones is the better fighter though but it's on Jones to beat Cormier now.

I love the way people just casually say that Jones fucks up. He got busted cheating and using PEDs. That's not fucking up. Jones is a juicer. A juicer can never be the legit champ.
 
who's more of a paper champ, somebody who roided and eye poked their way to the title or somebody who didn't roid or eye poke anybody?
