I see many people talking about how Stipe has an advantage in weight against DC but as far as i'm concerned, DC used to weigh around 245 pound when he was competing at heavyweight, same weight as Stipe. Do you guys think he'll show up at the same weight that he was when he competed at heavyweight or he'll just show up at the same weight that he is on fight night when he competes at light heavyweight (which is around 230)?

Timestamped, here he weighs 247 pounds.

My prediction is that he'll weigh in at 238, which is an ideal size for him.

229lb final offer take it or leave it I don't really care.

He never came to a HW fight weighing 245 pounds man. He was always between 230 and 235 pounds, same as Fedor used to. A light heavyweight fighting at HW has to be faster than the big guy, that's a key to get the win. DC at 245+ would be just a slow fat ass that would get owned by a guy like Stipe.

Not sure what you mean with "never came to a HW fight weighing 245" when the opening post has a timestamped video where they announce 247 pounds for Cormier at the weigh in back in Strikeforce

If he weighs 247, it’s safe to say that at least 20 lbs of that is fat in his midsection.

DC doesn't have to worry about a big weight cut this time around...man, am I excited about this fight.
