Fighters can make more $ there from sponsorships. Many fighters in bellator would be top 5 in the UFC or more.

The UFC won’t ever do a cross-promotional MMA event with Bellator. From a business perspective, why would they do that? Ryan Bader is unknown to the casual fan base and DC isn’t even a draw. This fight wouldn’t generate much money. They would basically be promoting Bellator. It’s a win-win-win situation for Bellator, it would be a tremendous promo for their organization.

fedor, meathead, mo and lil nog are lesser fighters than the guys who beat bader in the ufc. there's nothing to suggest bader is any better now than he was when he got smashed

This will never happen. Dana ain't gonna break his sacred rule against co-promotion for Ryan freakin Bader of all people. Think about how they refused to give Bader a title shot against DC when he clearly was the only guy at 205 who deserved it.

So did Gus, and he got a title shot for it. Prior to Bader getting destroyed by Rumble he was on a 5 fight win streak and should have gotten his shot. The poor guy even pulled some stunt at a press conference as I recall. Instead DC just sat for like 8 months - there were no viable contenders - and Bader got his ass kicked by Rumble. So if they didn't give him a shot back then I don't see how the hell he would get one now that he works for the competition.
