If DC pokes Stipe in the eye again I'm seriously going to lose it.

In the second fight the eye poking was so egregious and he used it to land some heavy punches right after because the referee didn't catch him. Really cheap, obnoxious way to fight.

Jones is every bit as guilty but so long as the rule isn't enforced properly, guys with poor sportsmanship will take advantage of it.

So what happens if he wins? He obviously won't defend it so who does Ngannou fight for the vacant belt? Stipe shouldn't get an immediate rematch. And there's no one else that's qualified to fight for it.

DC is getting an immediate rematch after a decisive knockout loss, and he had exactly 1 title defense in a gimmie fight.

Why wouldn't Stipe deserve to fight for the vacant belt if he loses a competitive fight to Daniel? Presumably Stipe and Ngannou are going to rematch regardless.

Yes, it's vastly different. Stipe talks about being excited by a fresh challenge. All you talked about the Lesnar match, since the moment Dana mentioned he was working on it, was the pots of money you'd get. And Stipe wanting it to be a boxing match may be a foolish adventure, but one thing can be said for it: it doesn't give anybody an undeserved cut in line to a UFC title shot like you would have gladly done.
