Daniel Cormier Admits Jon Jones Beat Him at His Best

However old Cormier was before the 2nd fight, Jones probably aged him around 10 years. Cormier got FFFFFUCKED UP.

He couldn't even get up, and definitely didn't know where TF he was <lmao>

I don't believe Daniel was at his best at this time but good for him accepting the loss.

It is nice of him to say, but...

A younger DC at HW would not have been better than the DC who Jones fought at LHW?

Didn't Jones even admit that fighting DC at HW would have been giving DC an advantage?

These questions don't invalidate what DC said, as the DC that Jones fought may have been the best DC *that we saw* compete...but there is certainly an argument to be made that DC would have been better at HW, that cutting to 205 hurt him more than it hurt Jon, etc.

DC understands competing at the highest levels in a way that none of us do. He felt Jon Jones twice inside the cage, if DC says JJ is special then I'm going to agree. Not the first time he was bested by a GOAT. Watch his college wrestling match with Cael Sanderson. DC was extraordinary, but Cael in college and JJ in MMA proved too much.

True, but that’s Jon Jones on steroids

Without roids, Jones might have just been a gatekeeper

Roids roids roids roids

Snitch to continue

No one is at their best at 36. Far far from it. When you look at all the champs, almost all of them started to decline reall badly at 35-36. Specially in a sport with contact and physical like mma, at 36 you are way past your prime…

People like to conveniently forget this and the UFC actively tried to cover up his multiple positive tests for multiple substances. His brothers were both NFL players and both failed tests for steroids too.

Runs in the family.
People like to make the argument that if DC is saying he beat him, well its fine he was on peds because DC said it. Same energy as talking about which fighters think Jones is the goat. Logical fallacies don't do much for me in a debate, other than confirming that certain people really aren't that bright.

If your entire posting style is to argue using debate tactics everyone else learned were garbage/smooth brain in high school, know that people laugh then scroll by your posts lmao.

Shut up, I’m in my prime god dammit :mad::mad:
Bro if it makes you feel any better, i’m almost 38 now. I trained my whole life and at 33-34 i was still like nah, nothing much has changed other than a slight decline in my perf, cardio, strenght etc. and almost didnt believe what i saw happening with everyone else.

But holy sh** i felt it in these last years, its insane how there seems to be a switch in our body. My father who was a pro football player already told me this and i could see it happening to all my former teammates and friends at the gym around 35ish. Crazy decline in everything despite me trying to fight it as soon as i noticed my perfs going down, but there is no way.
