Did anyone else notice he seemed kind of out of it the entire night? He sounded extremely tired and confused at times.
Not the typical DC we’re used to. Any idea why he was off last night?

The more I think about DC the less I like the guy, and honestly he’s now actually harming his legacy. He needs to carry himself as a professional when he’s providing commentary... his fanboying is becoming unbearable. Look at the commentating in boxing vs the UFC, it is night in day in polish and professionalism, this UFC style doesn’t add to the experience and in fact makes some fights awful to listen to.

    >inb4 pointing out the bias in the Usyk vs Joshua commentary

He's gettin' OLD lol, but in all honesty being a PBP commentator is already a lot to handle, but then you factor in the certain "narratives" and "agendas" the UFC wants to push on commentary and it becomes a COMPLETELY different ballgame where being impartial and objective about what you're seeing plays second fiddle to selling shit to casuals watching at home. I tuned them out, and from the Marvin Vettori Tweet, and the Threads I was reading, thank god I did, the fights were too good for me to be paying attention to their non commentating.

266 delivered on almost all fronts for me so as a Fan I really wasn't hearing the shit they were saying.

    It's a pretty tiring job I'd assume.

I hate how buddy buddy and unprofessional the booth is but its not all daniel. He is suuuuper biased though. Worse than Rogan in that regard.

I think it was deeper than that last night. He seemed like he either got CTE overnight or he was under the influence of something.
Not bashing the guy but at one point during the main event he even referred to an earlier round as “this morning”. It was just not like him.

He's always drunk when commentating. Alcohol + CTE isn't a good mix

He is still bumming over his friend Jon's most recent legal setback. Anyone with close friends would understand this.

Sorry, you can't get me to say a single negative thing about Cormier. Cormier's enthusiasm when he commentates fights is just so organic and infectious. No cringey hyperbole. Just genuine excitement and happiness.

    Arguably GOAT commentator.

That preshow dance competition that Valentina judged. Too much pressure on him. It drained his cardio.

He always is very informative and overall great at his job. Not disputing that at all, I’m referring to last night in particular, something was severely off with him.

    Quit crying.

Though it was awful how he said to Nick that he would love to see him in octagon again after nick wasn't able to form a sentence and looked slow as fuck in the fight. In no way on earth should nick be encouraged to fight again

Not a massive fan of his commenting at times.
He shines when commenting on wrestling/takedown and BJJ moves though.
He just needs to calm down a little with the jokes. Sometimes he's laughing like a retard at something for far too long.
But overall I like him, he just needs a little more professionalism.

Bisping is just getting better though.

And thank God Rogaine is leaving that gig.
Dude just got very bad lately.

There are thousands of people who could do a better job of ringside fight analyst.

How many people can be trusted to do the job and be a loyal company shill?
