Not to me, I'd never seen him before so I was thinking from what I read that he was this feared badass smasher, not another Fitch type.

I guess a lot of post talk of some higher ranked strikers or Colby as being protected from him. So I can see where the confusion could come from if you weren't aware. But yea more of a Fitch than a Francis.

I love Alex Jones. I try to watch it for entertainment until I get freaked out that even 20 percent of what he is saying is True! Then I shut it off or I will lose it. Lol. Because I worked in government before and I saw 2 things that were questionable. 2 things that can be considered a conspiracy but I never followed through with digging more into it. I agree with you that I wasn’t initially completley dismissive of him and when some of the things he claimed ended up being true it blew my mind ..

2. Convince them your the only one they can trust

Perhaps it would have been way better had Usman gone for a highlight reel finish, but in the current MMA environment even a finish inside of a minute wouldn't have necessarily gotten Usman any closer to contender status. Really, there's not much of anything he could have done in this fight to make detractors see the light as to how far he can go, with the exception of the hype bandwagon purists who would jump right off if he didn't get an awesome finish in the next fight..

And it was rather blatantly disrespectful to have him be facing a guy coming off of a single UFC win in his debut at this stage of his fight career. That said, he clearly didn't do himself any favors with his post fight protests and should learn that when it comes to fight talking, you either have it - Conor, Diaz brothers, Chael, Bisping - or you don't - the vast majority of the remaining fighters - and if you don't have it, place your head down and just fight.

Dana has a right to be salty a guy gets a boring decision then says oh I fought at 30%, Usman deserves to be overlooked if he doesn't put effort in his fights.
Still though give him a contender like Maia so they can wrestling match.

Don't see why this is so hard for you to understand, I've never even that thread until tonight, haven't read any of it, haven't posted in it. The the posts I've read about Usman since I returned to Sherdog in November have all hyped him up like he was a smasher not a lay and prayer. I don't care if you don't believe it, but I have no reason to lie.
