Media Dana White Shows His INSANE Las Vegas Home Gym & Fridge

Why it’s calories and glucose. If the calories are burned and the glucose is utilized........

A glazed donut is on average 269 calories 30g carbs and 15g of sugar 4g fat.

You can eat donuts if that’s your thing. Empty carbs and sugars can have a place in your diet depending on what you’re doing. The problem is usually lazy people at a calorie surplus eating them (same with soda etc).
Nah, all that sugar and processed carbs spikes you insulin and causes inflammation amongst other things. There is no way, even if you burn the kilojoules off, that doughnuts are ok to eat.

You dont believe eveything you read. How on earth would anyone be able to access that information. Its completely private. I guess they just asked the super rich if they were self made or got rich from an inheritance. So what you are saying is that receiving a significant inheritance has no bearing on you're wealth. In other words all those who received a shit ton of money via inheritance are not millionaires. So thats a convoluted study not worth the paper it was written on.

Keep in mind there is some wordplay trickery going on.

Middle class people in large metro areas will have a net worth in excess of a million dollars by the end of their careers. Upper middle class people in high earning jobs with 6 figure salaries will attain a net worth of a million by mid-career.

Of course, a software engineer in a Seattle suburb married to a partner with another good corporate job isn't what we picture as 'millionaires' but they are, just on the very low end of the graph.

Actual wealthy people inherited their wealth. That number isn't going to be in the single digits and its laughable to anyone familiar with that class of people to say such a ridiculous thing.

This very well said.
Although, standard of living and 'happiness rating' are subjective things.
Also, capitalism is more than fine. Capitalism and freedom of speech are very closely tied together. The people that created U.S. capitalism tried to create a system to curb the known human traits to take things to an unreasonable and unfair level because they came, in general, from areas that didn't provide opportunity to the 'everyman' at the time. When you look at history, humans will take things to, "a stupid, unrealistic, unreasonable and frankly an unfair level" every single time, will they not?

Humans will but that is why we have governments.

Exactly. And they will produce all kind of propaganda to avoid any kind of wealth or inheritance taxes.

Lol, how many people are you imagining inherited over a million bucks? There were fewer than 100,000 millionaires in 1960, and now there are like 15 million of them, so who were they inheriting all this money from?

Did the millionaires from 1960 all have 150 kids each and have enough money to leave each of them over a million dollars?

Where was the medicine cabinet with the HGH inside?

I have no problem with people who work hard making a lot of money. Dana's house is really nice. He can afford to have people basically take care of his every need, while he focuses on running the UFC. I would just like the see the health issues of the fighters addressed, however. There needs to be long term insurance and some kind of a fund (tax revenue) to address long term health issues caused by fiting UFC. Really nice house, but also soulless. It's good that he has a grappling room, though, so he can keep up with his boxercise, in case he has to fite Tito or something.

Haha, me and Dana have one thing in common, probably the only thing..LoL We definitely share the same philosophy of staying in shape as an old fuck... he’s 51 and I’m 49... two rules, don’t workout to gain mass or gain weight, it usually results in additional body fat. Also being smart about how you lift, staying uninjured is paramount... he also stays away from heavy weight, does perfect form for higher reps, more intense workouts are predicated around cardio, or for resistance training, he does stations with increased volume. He doesn’t even mention this point, but as you get older muscle memory keeps fairly lean body mass, it’s really just aesthetic, maintain that athletic physique without having to kill yourself grinding the heavy weights... although in his circumstances I’m sure the unlimited resources for the top supplements, and of course the HGH/TRT help some.... LoL. He he says he doesn’t really do any type of strict diets, unlike me whose wife is vegan haha. It honestly sounds like he eats just about anything that he wants, hey says soda, Cheetos, mac and cheese, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream... cheat food fried chicken and donuts, but I definitely question this... The reality is if he’s on the hormones you need to be very cognizant of what you eat, otherwise your body says “fuck you” in interesting and undesirable ways.
Good to know for when I get older

Nice crib is really nice congrats to him... But man does he look old recently the last of couple of years he has really aged to me but maybe that's just me getting older and noticing the change.

He looks like he's melting. Yes he is old but his lifestyle is also catching up with him. That diet haha, just disgusting for a 51 year old man. Fried chicken donuts but no garlic, onions, peppers or seafood? His healthy stuff was like fruit and yogurt lol everything else is junk food. It's quite weird really, like he is a kid trapped in a middle aged man's body.

Yeah def not the best lifestyle or diet to have lol. That hard lifestyle catches up so fast it really makes you age at a faster rate.

Dana working his way into a heart attack

I would love to know the age of the posters who repeatedly put their 2 cents here on sherdog.

I would imagine those with Socialist dreams are very young and haven't accomplished much in the way of business (entrepreneurship) or science ( not necessarily academia) .

Only when you've put the work in.. hours.. days.. years to accomplish a goal, do you have that sense of accomplishment ... or Pride.

Real Pride.. not Pride generated from skin color or sexuality.

There are obvious flaws in the current "capitalist " system.. which I believe stem from the inevitable and unfortunate integration/entanglement of Govt authority /lobbyist/corporation/media.

Thats not what Capitalism in its purest form is.. just like the younguns constantly say " we've never had a real , pure socialist system yet". "Pure Socialism would be utopia".

Socialism will always have an elite few running the show..
Corrupted Capitalism.. the same.

What exactly is the carrot on the string.. to strive and to excel...to accomplish more than your neighbor..
to be a better surgeon.. to be a better tradesman .. to distinguish yourself from everyone else In a socialist system?

Who wants to invest a decade (or more) of their life working their balls of to become something special, that not many others could achieve... just to be compensated the same as a couch dwelling , unmotivated slack jawed yokel, who only accomplishments are unlocking video game levels?

I was a starving artist until my late 20's and was absolutely determined not to be "one of those guys".. meaning a 40 year old.. still trying to break into the big time.

I did my research.. chose a profession and Invested in myself . to the tune of $300 grand... only possible because I had my modest and middle class Gym teacher/Coach Father co sign on my student loans. Ruined my entire late 20's and entire 30's with my head in books/cadavers/mouths busting my ass to get that Degree.

Now.. 20 years since I started that hellish trip.. I'm donating about $50,000 per year in free procedures to those who can and cannot afford.. regardless of their own financial situation.. Because I don't evaluate my charity based on others past choices/financial situation.

Unfortunately .. Yes.. It takes money to help others out.. For the first 10 years my career.. I was laser focused on paying of loan and mortgage.. putting away a modest nest egg.. I was not donating much..

Once you realize that
1) you are Probably (barring an economic collapse) set for life and
2)only the shallow give a fuck about what you own, and you yourself are shallow for giving a fuck about what you own, can the humanity/charity really take off.

There is nothing wrong with excess for some, and I will not judge.
I can only imagine what I would do with untold fortune.

I don't hate on Dana for his excesses , but flaunting wealth is fucking weak in my eyes, and I do hope one day he "opens up his pocket book" and spreads that shit around..

But yea.. Fuck Socialism.. If you would rather live your life as an unaccomplished NPC , living a "free and safe life" off of a Government Minimum Stipend.... then yes, you are a loser. Just know that, in that system, there will always be those at the top.. subjugating you.. and actually living the free life (x 1000) you would have never known.

Wall of text that doesn't say anything about the inherent problems within the system, that result in the widest wealth disparities in the history of the West at the current moment. Capitalism is a system of have and have nots. That doesn't mean Communism is the answer. Rabbid foaming at the mouth Americans who yell "you're a socialist" to people to criticise the current system, are just dualistic morons who are brainwashed to the highest degree.

Well good for you bud. This line always comes from the people that made it. So what about the parasites that exist in capitalism. People with money shorting the market. Using hedge funds to make shit tons of money. Preying on housing and making hundreds of millions for doing nothing but working the system isnt constructive and effectively siphons wealth from ordinary police, etc. And then there's the tax cuts for the multi millionaires. Of course Capitalism is great for entrepreneurs and creative people who work hard but its the parasitism of the system that ultimately destroys it. As is happening now in the USA

Also, most people aren't made to "entrepreneurs & creatives". Most people just want a decent job to make a living.
Those decent jobs are more and more delocalised to the "developing world" or automated. Because hey, Western working & middle class is too expensive for the upper class.

Yeah def not the best lifestyle or diet to have lol. That hard lifestyle catches up so fast it really makes you age at a faster rate.

His strategy seems to be to eat as poorly as possible but take steroids and work out a lot and jump in ice water everyday so as to not get fat. I'm actually a bit surprised he is so incredibly reckless.

One thing that helped me is simply eating once or twice a day. I haven't found any conclusive study that it is worse for you than eating more times a day, so i've been doing it for over a year. Already lost over 30 pounds, but i keep eating what i always ate. It's just that when you eat once or twice, that's hardly enough meals to go over your daily recommended intake.

That's excellent and what I do too. Also, eating tons of meals is just not good for the digestive system, which is overworked.
Still, avoiding all the toxic food (like junk food, processed food) is necessary. That stuff is just toxic on many levels (empty calories, gets you addicted, etc).

It will catch up to him eventually at some point you would think.

Jup. Especially as wealthy people do not really hold wealth in cash.
They have companies, assets, etc. Real estate, precious metals, financial portfolios, etc.
All of which are passed on to their sons eventually.
No wealthy person hoards cash to avoid taxation. So they invest everything.
