Dana White offers fired employee a new job

Why would anyone put their body on the line for some big corporate company. It's been show time and time again they will dump you like your worthless to them for trying to be a hero like this.
yeah when you spend everyday with the store and its employee you feel some kind of connection. It's like someone robbing your house. She acted out of that loyalty than trying to save the corporation some bucks

She did something awesome? She should never have gotten physical which is why she got canned. That wasn't her job to do that.
o_O
Really people think like this? Do you happen to live in a large city? Or do you happen to sympathize with someone like the low life scum that tried to steal?
She is a good person who did the right thing and good on dana with rewarding her with probably a much better paying security job after her old company fired her.

And people say people will still be good people without religion god damn. The culture and attitude of much of at least the United States seems to beg to differ. Selfishness over honor and integrity abounds as religion declines.

Morally yes she did the right thing but big corporations don't give a shit about morality. If she hurts a thief the company could get sued, her job isn't to get physical. Business and morality are hugely different.

I am not sure what the law is in your state, but back when I was young in California, the thief had to make it out of the store before it was considered shoplifting.
I’m in Southern California and my brother worked at the Albertsons it occurred at and said their policy was once the person passes the registers and is heading for the door the employees were allowed to restrain the person.

Just wondering what Danas thinking though, time for a burgerweight class?
The UFC employs people to do things other than fight braniac. Also Miss Burgerweight has bigger balls than you do, no way inhell you would have tried to stop the guy at all.

Doesn’t actually sound like he’s offering her a job, hes not going to relocate her from Hawaii and give her $9.50 an hour lol
actually he could very well keep her as security snd she travels to each event. They have fuck you money. They likely have more positions than people realize.

Why did they fire her?
She got fired for that? That’s next level ridiculous -_-
She didn’t get fired. She did an interview for the local news in Hawaii saying she had already put in her two weeks to “focus on her other job.”

Edit: but she would have been fired. Found the video and forgot that part.

Sista is a rugby player. Lol he picked the wrong Best Buy.

Polynesian girls are not to be messed with, that chick was blocking him like she was a collegiate offensive lineman defending her QB

Some people also just don't like scumbag thieves. I remember a hilarious vid of a G20 summit riot in Toronto where someone tried to loot, and a bystander laid the smack down on them

edit:

As if that A level athlete isn’t nfl bound. Holy hell that was beautiful.

From a business sense, it has nothing to do with morality. It is all about risk management and mitigating potential losses. Big companies are smart enough to know they would rather take a small loss they can write off than to face potential big money law suits. What if the employee suffered a permanent and debilitating back injury? What if the thief was gravely injured? Or another customer. These are all scenarios that would have cost exponentially more than the loss of the merchandise.

Agreed 100%.
