At the post-fight press conference last night, Dana White said that the McGregor vs. Aldo fight will be in Las Vegas -- not Ireland. He indicated that there were a lot of "obstacles" for Croke Park in Ireland, including a curfew, lower pay-per-view revenue, and the possibility or rain.

Conor McGregor responded by saying that although fighting in the stadium in Dublin was a "dream" of his, he is happy to fight Aldo in Vegas.

So, would you have preferred to see the fight in Ireland, or do you prefer that the fight be in Vegas.

    Your thoughts?

(Below are a couple of images of Dublin's Croke Park -- seating capacity is 82,300.)

Honestly I doubt they could even fill 50k seats, be it in Brazil or Ireland.

It's 10 minutes away from me, so yea I'd prefer Croker.
I never really thought for one second it would happen though.

Seems fair. Why would Aldo defend in his opponent's home territory anyway? I know he said he'd be willing but he shouldn't have to. Vegas is perfect.

They would have had to give away a load of free tickets to even come close to filling it.

I'd rather it be on neutral ground. Too many robberies in Ireland and Brazil and LV has a larger stadium a draw.

there isn't a single reason for this fight to be in Ireland other than Mcgregor wanting it there. Aldo is the champ and is undefeated defending his title with a long dominant winning streak so why would he go to Mcgregor's home turf to defend the title, that's major disrespect.

The fight would also have to take place at regular time in the U.S. so that would go pas 4-5am Ireland time and from what I know Croak Park has a 1am curfew.

If the fight were to take place in a stadium it would make most sense at Gillette Stadium, Boston. That would easily sell out and it would be perfect for ppv.
