Dana White made the following statements recently about Dennis Siver:

If Siver had any chance of winning the fight never would have been made.

    Oh, Dana, you so cray-cray....

In this case he is only saying positive things about Siver to make Conor look better if he wins

But i really am hoping he pulls off an upset

He could probably outgrapple McGoober. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he did

Anyone can win, this is mma. Nobody thought Serra would beat GSp, TJ would beat Barao.

McGregor probably wins, I'd favor him to win and I'm picking him to win but to think there is no chance he loses is ridiculous. Siver is a stocky, powerful striker and it only takes one shot to put someone out and ruin this whole thing.

Funny thing is everyone who complains that McGregor doesnt deserve a title shot will be the same ones if Siver beats McGregor killing the UFC for not giving him the shot after beating Dustin.

Siver has a solid chance to win this one I think, WAY more of a chance than many people have been saying over the last few weeks. Who has Conor beat that Siver wouldn't beat? How much do we really know about Conor's ground game? How much do we really know about his stamina?

Despite what many seem to believe (or at least want to believe) Conor has not yet proven that he is a top fighter. At this point, he is only a promising young talent. Of course he may go out and smash Siver, proving himself even further, but to just ASSUME that that's what's going to happen is foolish.

This will be Conor's toughest test to date.

Then put money on Siver then, this anyone can win talk is ridiculous.

Dana hyping a mismatch to setup the money fight.

Well he's wrong considering at least half the people I've ever seen post said conor would beat/destroy Portier. Its not even worth posting anymore from what these people say. Impossible.

Color me crazy, but while I don't think he's an overwhelming favorite, I like Siver here, and if the betting line is skewed enough, I'll maybe put a car payment or so on him.

Dana is right. Siver can beat McGregor, it's just highly unlikely. In the UFC, any of the guys CAN be beaten by any other UFC fighter. It's just a matter of whether or not it is like to happen.

I don't remember anyone saying conor couldn't beat Dustin, Dana. In fact, I'm pretty sure most agreed that Dustin was the perfect top ten guy for conor to beat.

Some people are so easily manipulated by the way Conor talks about himself. I expect him to win, but all thesepeople who give Siver no chance are just silly.

Always been a fan of siver, it wouldn't surprise me if he does win, the hype is what has made mcgregor a huge favourite.
