Why is anyone surprised or even worked up about it? We all know money has gone from being an important consideration with title shots, to the ONLY consideration. The belts mean nothing because Dana can randomly decide who fights for them based solely on how much money it makes him and WME.

All of us hardcore fans can sit back in shock and call out Dana for this nonsense, but in the end what the hell does he care? Sounds to me like he's saying Dustin and Tony are first, and not until then could Conor get a shot.

As much as we can't trust Dana we shouldn't be mad about stuff Dana didn't really say either.

But your interpretation of the question isn't entirely right either.
The question was "Do you have any breaking news on Khabib vs Conor? Any rematch stuff? What do you got for us?"
so the question WAS in reference to fighting Khabib.
