Dana White: Francis Ngannou ‘completely lost his mind’ prior to Stipe Miocic fight

Dana throwing the Ford Escort under the bus again like a motherfucker.

At this point his pet bus is the size of a dinosaur, with how much he has fed it

You know what. I frequent Vegas very often and I’ve ran into Francis myself and dude had a very arrogant vibe to him. We were at a restaurant I was just making small talk in the lobby and said good job on your fight and he just gave me a very rude look/reaction. I get that he doesn’t speak English but who doesn’t understand ‘good job?’

you dont think good job on a fight he lost might've been a sore spot for him, or came across sarcastic af? lol or do you mean one of his wins?

Dana's bus must have monster truck–style tires, to give the clearance needed to fit all the people he's thrown under it.

That being said...Francis did give off the most amazing attitude prior to UFC 220. I'm sure a lot was hype for the fight, but still. The thing that really struck me is when he said something like, people are calling my rise up the rankings rapid but it feels ordinary and normal to me, because I always knew I was destined for greatness. That was when the sign started flashing ***SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE ACTIVATED***

its no excuse but coming from his background and the way the ufc was hyping him and treating him like he was a king and everything else involved i can see how his mind would have been susceptible to that line of thinking and the influence of the others around him boasting him up to be some sort of god.
He got a special ride from the ufc and it got to his head. Every ufc fighter they are giving this performance institute ride and extra push to the top is failing. every time they try to force a new star it fails. not saying anything bad about him mentally or his intelligence. just that i saw signs of that coming as the ufc was pampering him to the top. same shit happened in a way with ronda and JJ. different reasons but the ufc push their own mind and people around them is what lead to their loss's
francis is an odd one. because hes seems intelligent and like a good dude but is also susceptible to being arrogant and way to full of himself, hes a bit socially awkward too sometimes.. reminds me of a little kid mixed with a full grown serious warrior. Some of that might be just the way he is portrayed through media and English not being his first language or fans catching him at a bad time but it is clear he was already past stipe before the fight. I also think he is more emotional then he lets off. Or his way of thinking is a bit off from his hard background before becoming a fighter with success.
to be honest i dont expect this to be corrected from one loss but maybe im wrong.
I think if he trained with other hw's that humbled him on a daily basis he would be in a better spot. like francis with aka would be hard to stop. francis at the performance institute and in france is going to loose again for sure.

You saying 'good job' to Ngannou after the Overeem KO is like an intern at Apple telling Steve Jobs 'good job' after launching the iPad.

Yeah cuz you were there right? To recall the whole thing?

lol

this is hilarious coming from Dana

Wow. Dana making yet more imaginary excuses for totally sucking at his job. He will also remarkably get away with it.

Could someone please start a new thread per below.
- I can't bc I'm carded from my own idiocy which I regret.
- Subject Is: Conor's financial incentive vs Khabib?
- First Post Is: Conor is sitting on at least $50 million after-tax. Never has to fight again. Why risk his legacy?
Yeah I’m typing it up right now

In the words of the wise Chael P. Sonnen, N'Gannou marked out his own gimmick.

Umm, no shit. You give a guy that never had a pot to piss in 500 thousand dollars and how do you expect him to act?

smoke and mirrors
last Ngannou's fight was fixed.

Dana lies a lot. Ive really stopped paying attention to anything he says. Cruz confirmed that Dana told both himself and tj that he thought they both won. He just says whatever at this point.

I swear Yoel & Ngannou fans have never heard of Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler.

The only guy in this room that could be any era of UFC HW champ has a ponytail and can take face punches like Dillashaw.

But what does that have to do with what's being said in this thread?
I maintain my opinion that you are absolutely an A.I bot designed to converse with others without anyone suspecting, tell your programmers you need tweeking.

On topic yeah Ngannou definitely believed what was being shovelled at the masses, I'm surprised he didn't start wearing a tshirt with the Ford logo on it, hits with the power of a Ford escort...jesus Dana.

the hype train on him was ridiculous.

there was sherdoggers in the pre-bout threads saying he would comfortably beat Brett Rogers despite Rogers having a better KO streak and competition than Ngannou.
