More so than because of the money they've spent on the promotion of the event. Thoughts?

First time Dana's ever given a shit about "fairness"

He even said it himself, its about setting a precedent.

One week out of three months...

I'm gonna go full elitist1 on this.

Hes doing it to prove no one fighter is bigger than the ufc.

Or to protect conor.

Maybe both.

I like how Dana was against special treatment for Conor at this press conference, when Conor has had nothing BUT special treatment the last 3 years.

Yeah, I think I heard crickets when he said that.

And you believed him..hahaha, Its because they dont want to specify media in contracts so that they can just order them around as they like. A "union" would take care of that though..

Dana bs-ing as usual, you know Zuffas attitude towards employees power and organising and unions..

its pretty clear.

he wants the hierarchy to be as big and threatening as possible. Classic capitalistic tactic.

dana the king of fairness while he flies in a private jet to sign rookies and imports snow to his las vegas home while fighters are getting paid chump money by reebok

It's more about power than unfairness. They aren't pulling Conor off the card to spare fighters' feelings. They're doing it because they don't want to allow fighters to do whatever the fuck they want. And that's what Conor wants to do.

And he's awesome, so they should let him. But I admit, I'm biased

Both Conor and Dana found a way to avoid the Nate rematch in this whole debacle. Unfairness is the smoking gun. You know Dana doesnt give a shit about that.

haha Dana talking about fairness, thats like Cheney talking about morals.

Anyone thinks its weird how hard members of the press are pulling for conor, even so far as to say fuck fairness special fighters should get special treatment.

This is not Conor ducking Nate. Wake up. He initially was asking for and fighting RDA which is a far more imposing opponent. RDA had a sore foot. Nate stepped in and got it done. Conor wants to beat the guy but he's asking for what he thinks he deserves. Something most of the pussies on here who bash Conor would never do at their job. Negotiate with a pair of balls. I'm sure minimum wage is what it is anyway for you

One time he doesnt need to be fair to get more buys he is.

How fair was it for the rest of the lhw division when Jones went on to do tuf with Chael Sonnen? How fair are all these coming of a loss titleshots? How fair are the removals of Fitch, Okami, Shields etc from the roster?.. How fair it is to tell Ben Askren to go fuck himslf on a wsof card?

when he was making them money. he's costing them money now so...

Well, Dana wants his rules followed and he decides what exception he is willing to make. Conor was the perfect eager little beaver until now.

Off the record, most of the fighters had no problem with him not showing up. This is just a power struggle fueled on ego.

I understand that too. Conor is behaving like a total diva and uncle Dana wants to put him in his place. "Fairness" has nothing to do with it.
