Seems like they are hoping Volk can pull it off. Maybe Islam isn't getting the same attention Khabib was like they expected. Seems like they are trying to set up the lay up for Volk by giving him hometown advantage as well. Usually for fighter's like Khabib and Islam they give them the advantage by fighting at Fight Island.

Also Khabib not being part of the training/camp and won't be cornering/coaching during the fight can be a big factor. I've seen the recent training/coaching and it's nothing like how it was when Khabib was fighting and when Khabib was the one in charge of the training/coaching.
