I agree. Plus, if your corner have some common sense they will not let you getting beat down that badly. Ok you are a fighter etc but your corner are here to assist you, coach you and also take decision you can't take in the heat of the fight. The referee has a lot to do and takes a lot of shits for premature/late stoppage, sometimes for the right or wrong reason but it is the corner's duty to recognize the fighter is going nowhere, getting punished, and throw the towel.

I am not saying that Yamasaki is a perfect guy, but in lots of fights the ref gets throw under the bus while the corner was happy sitting and watching their fighters getting chew.
