paraphrasing but that's the gist of it.

Hey UFC fans, congratulations your Dana White is evolving ............... your Dana White evolved into Bob Arum.

http://www.thesweetscience.com/news/articles/15830-rivalry-renewed-dana-white-slams-bob-arum

"Dumbest fight in history. Bob Arum is a moron. You don't take that fight, you idiot. Why would you do that fight? It's all about the money, that's why. That was a money fight, that's what that fight was done for. He should have fought Bradley. Bradley's the fight they should have done. He would have knocked Bradley out, he would have got his belt back and now he's back in the position he should have been in. [Pacquiao's] one of the best fighters in the world. He goes out and fights Marquez again? Bob Arum is the dumbest promoter in the history of the world."

Two losses in a row to Bradley would have been embarrassing. Most people figure MArquez has his # anyway.

Dana's mentality is why the UFC is having trouble building stars.

He would have just LOST to Bradley AGAIN if he took the rematch. The JMM was the easier fight out of the two. Shows how much Dana knows.

Fight a guy you lost too or fight a guy you beat 2 out of 3 times. On paper Bob made the easier choice.

What the UFC likes to do is give their champions easy tailor made opponents and make them look good. Just look at Anderson Silva's UFC career.

Dana this Dana that,I'm sick of him, anyone would think he's the boss the way he acts, just fight Tito or shut up Dana.

The way the UFC hands out title fights is a joke. Dana has always been a walking, talking joke and hypocrite. He will say one thing one month and say something different another month. Making fights like JJ vs Chael etc totally de-legitimizes the UFC and MMA. I wish the UFC was ran by real level headed people, not people looking to cash out and continue to make the UFC look like some fad.

Will the Fertitas ever figure out that the UFC would be even bigger if they replaced Dana with just about anybody else?

i like this comment from bloodyelbow :
"When did boxing and the UFC change places?
Promise fights the fans want to see and then not deliver? Check.
Protect the big draws by giving them well known but much less risky challengers? Check.
Make weak cards centered around only the main event? Check.
And why even mock Arum and draw attention to the fact that the idiot just promoted a fight that sold more than any UFC card in the last 2 years?

ps: bradley didn't beat manny, enough with that shit already

B-I-N-G-O!

But seriously, this IS the problem with the current UFC climate. Thanks Dana, for making it easier to shit on you.

He's only fought top fighters, bro. Travis Lutter, Patrick Cote, Thales Leites, Stephan Bonnar, James Irvin, Forrest Griffin and Demian Maia were all serious threats.

LMao...he would have defeated Bradley AGAIN and gotten the decision the second time if not by stoppage..

most of the boxing world already had Manny winning that fight and didn't care to see a rematch...JMM was not the easier of the two as all fights with JMM have been incredibly close...shows how much you know...

The only thing you said that was accurate was that Bob Arum had it right...

knock off your fighter bashing.

This is precisely why people like you who know jack shit about MMA shouldn't discuss it.

Has Silva taken cake walk fights? Yes...eg: Bonnar, Griffin, Irvin..

was his road to the top full of sub par opponents? Absolutely not.

Franklin twice, Dan Henderson, nate the great, Thales Leities, Demian Maia, were all serious contenders.

All you racists need to give Tim Bradley his due.

Pac looked like shit in that fight, came in with a stupid strategy with no plan b. He threw away that fight in the last 6 rounds. I'm tired of people acting like it was a showcase for PAcquiao. It was a terrible performance, maybe the worst he's ever fought over 12 rounds.

What about Vitor, chael,Henderson, okami,Franklin?you forget about them?and by the way Maia is a great fighter and a tough fight for anyone.

Patrick Cote dropped Tito Ortiz.

How does this even make sense?

To diminish Anderson Silva's career and try to insinuate that he has fought "nobodies" and "cans" is clearly indicative of someone who doesn't know jack shit about MMA and is clearly fighter bashing.

He did. Sorry, but you can't change that. Let it go.

i don't have to let it go .

history will remember it as a robbery , just like chavez-whitaker , de la hoya-sturm , de la hoya -mosley 2 etc...

you'll have to deal with being in that 0.1 % who thought bradley won :icon_surp
