Dana says that Conor said work out who I am going to fight and let me know, I'll fight anyone.

Dana even says "there's no reason for me to make this shit up".

Conor is probably the most courageous, old school fighter on the roster.

Yeah Dana's job is to promote - but Conor has already proved the truth of Dana's words by accepting two short notice fights - one of them 2 divisions up from the division in which he holds the title. What other champion or MMA fighter does anything else like that these days!?

To the army of McHaters, if you are true fight fans at all, please now give your respect to McGregor. I think we can all now agree that it is well deserved. That doesn't mean that you have to want him to win - you can root against him - but he damn well deserves your respect.

This thread is just silly btw. Conor didn't take the fights because he is courageous, he took then because if he didn't he was going to lose out on a huge pay day. Frankie was the harder fight over Chad and Khabib or Petis was the harder fight over Diaz.

And I think he made the good career move, which is what he should do. It would be stupid to try to screw yourself best you can with millions on the line not only now but for future fights. But don't turn it into something it isn't. And plenty of people respect what Conor has done in the cage, they don't need someone to tell them to.

Pretty much this.You have guys like werdum who get a change of opponent and pull out or as u mentioned Jones vs chael were the whole card collapses.Conor took his worst stylistic matchup in mendes on 2 weeks notice.And i know people like to forget ,but this was the chad who had just gave aldo hell then smoked lamas.And i think the vast majority would of said chad was the better matchup and fighter then frankie at that point.

But of course he loses and then frankie knocks him out and its why didnt conor fight frankie then instead.

Its kind of funny though every time he challenges for a belt the champ pulls out.Be equally amusing if he smokes Rda in july inside 20 seconds
