I apologize if this was posted already and I'm totally being that guy but I just found this small gem on TMZ and thought it was interesting that Dana tried to give Conor an offer he couldn't refuse but he still did. Knowing the way Dana does business, I'm only assuming he promised Conor he would throw in an extra cup of noodles if he fought during UFC 200.

UFC honcho Dana White says he has NOT heard from Conor McGregor after he reached out with an offer that could save his fight at UFC 200 ... and says he's actively trying to book a replacement.

Really? Extra cup of noodles? Conor was on track to renegotiate IF he kept winning but he didn't and acts so entitled.

Entitled? He generated millions in PPV and gate and was given the vultures share of the meal. Imagine if Pacquaio or Mayweather got this type of treatment.

wouldn't be surprised if the fight still happens. Seems like Conor is throwing a tantrum and also trying to play hardball. The whole thing reminds me of a dating relationship. Conor heard he was going to be pulled from the card (get dumped) so he broke up first (announced retirement) Now Dana is trying to get back together and Conor won't return his calls because he wants Dana to pursue him more and give him flowers and chocolate (more money)

This isn't boxing this is MMA, it's not as respected nor as big as the tradition of boxing. Conor hasn't had nearly as many of fights as either of those fighters nor is he as established as a champion. Conor isn't worth as much as either of those boxer, especially coming off a lose

Conor was the reason that PPV generated millions...you would be ok with your boss keeping 95%? lol pls

This needed to be said. People act as if MMA begins and ends with Conor.

McGregor broke the all time highest PPV buy record his last fight so IMO the loss gets thrown out the window I think he has every right to renegotiate AGAIN.

UFC 200 with McGregor headlining has a chance at 2 million PPV buys I am sure they will come to an agreement to make it happen and all this drama will help push the PPV buys over 2 million.

And also, boxing has no structure. It is run by individuals, so guys like Mayweather and Paq can promote themselves and still get fights against anyone. If Conor doesn't fight for the UFC, the only fights he get are non-UFC guys. As big as a name as he is, nobody is going to pay $50 to watch him fight Bellator or WSOF guys that nobody's ever heard of.

Dana wants Connor to fight if he dosn't then he will just work around it.

You don't know what an offer you can't refuse is.

It involves a horse head in your bed.
