What happened to Dana roasting fighters who left it to the judges and abusing them for complaining about decisions if they left it to the judges ? Instead, nowadays, he wants to weigh in on razor close decision
Remember when Chuck Liddell was about to beat his ass on live TV for that stupid little phrase? Dana was shook.
These 2 things aren't contradictory. You shouldn't leave it in the hands of the judges BECAUSE we know they make a lot of shitty decisions and you might get screwed. Finishing a fight is the only way to guarantee you won't get screwed by bad judges because we know they can't always be counted on to score a fight correctly.
Yeah bro, because fighters intentionally leave it to the judges because they just don't feel like finishing someone that day. They just LOVE going 5 hard rounds and then losing a controversial decision instead of KOing their opponents in the 1st round.
Don't leave it to the judges is such a dumb thing to say. As if everybody can just knock out everybody as soon as they are a little bit better.
Huh? First of all, very few fights are "5 hard rounds". Main events and title fights are scheduled for 5 rounds, all others are 3. 2. You don't think there is such thing as point fighting? There are lots of fights where a guy takes very little risk, hits and moves, gets a TD without using it, or tries to "steal a round" by getting a late TD. 3. None of that has anything to do with my post, or with Dana telling guys that judges are fuck ups and you're never totally safe when it goes to the judges.
That's not what he's doing, what he's doing is blaming the fighters instead of blaming the judges and the scoring system. "DoNt LeT iT gO tO tHe JuDgEs" lol Dana is liable to get smacked in the mouth for saying that shit to someone who just fought their heart out and got robbed. As if he isn't fighting another trained killer who would do anything in their power to survive and stop him from not letting it go to the judges.
Cool, so what is it you think Dana is supposed to do? Just overturn results himself? That sounds objective. You're clearly very emotional about the subject and aren't making very much sense.
he can just say "what can you do the judges are shit" Saying "don't let it go to the judges" puts blame on the fighter that they do not deserve.
He still said the line at the post fight press conference. He was just more jovial than his usual pissed off attitude when saying the line
