Media Dana counters Jones retirement with doubling DWCS fights

I think Dana asked himself "how can I get more programming that's cheaper than 12/12 but gets more viewers than Power Slap?" I don't think Dana realized that DWCS will end up getting Power Slap numbers at this rate.

Obviously they don’t believe this, and you’d think all of the suits at TKO/UFC would know more than me

And it’s hard when you’re a corporation that owns an entire industry like them

But eventually making comically bad decisions to the point even casuals see it, is gonna catch up to them

And it’s gonna be very hard to turn it back around once that starts happening

So they still haven't gotten the netflix deal and they are going to water it down with even more shit?

Exciting times.

It legit almost feels like Dana is tanking it on purpose at this point. This shit has gotten embarrassing.

I don’t want the entire roster to be DWCS fighters, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the series.

I guess they feel their brand is rock solid and they can start cranking out fights like it's cheeseburgers at McDonalds. More fights on TV equals more money.
The brand is what it is because of 15 or so years of building it by providing a flawed but ultimately great product, doing what boxing and in a lot of ways what pro wrestling was trying to do, but better

That doesn’t disappear after a year of bad decisions, or even a few years of bad decisions, but eventually your brand will be damaged, and once it does, it will take longer, and twice as many great decisions to get you back to where you were
