Dana claims he will keep giving Cm fights

This is funny... the guy probably won't even make it to a first fight and yet apperently he will be allowed to fight no matter what, even, if he loses badly, Michael Jackson whose a pro boxer didn't even get that chance and most fighter are at risk of cuts after 2 poor perfomances...apparenly Punk can do anythinkg he wants...and had an 8 fight contract.

So, what happens if the fight with Gall happens and Punk loses badly? Will he fight again?
"That's going to be up to him," UFC President Dana White said "He will decide what he wants to do after that."

Wow I though McG had the UFC by the balls. And for those of you delusional fans out there still claiming CM was "rushed" Both Dana and Punk have confirmed the below statement except Punk later claimed the UFC pushed him into it...

"He was a big fan of the UFC. He ended up leaving the WWE and he said, 'Dana, my dream is to fight in the UFC. I want to fight in the UFC. Will you let me fight?'

I think Dana was being kind. I'm pretty sure he expects CM to fight only once- if once. By saying it's "up to him," he was probably referring to retirement.

Even if Punk loses and fights again in the UFC, I won't hold it against Dana. It won't be any less legitimate than his first fight and it'll make money.

You think Dana White was being kind ? Do you know who Dana White is ? And it's a verbal agreement if he said it on a published site...that means he's held to it.

The whole thing is really ridiuclous to me...they didn't even offer James Toney that many fights, really have no idea how this happened or why.
 
There are many fighters with experience and actual proven skill that have a dream of fighting in the UFC.

I don't follow you. You think he was being mean? I'm saying: Dana probably thinks Punk isn't going to fare well in his fight. He doesn't want to just bury him in the media, but he expects one fight (if not zero) and then a handshake.

Also, what are you complaining about? CM Punk gets special treatment? It's obviously purely business. If Donald Trump wants to fight at UFC 200, I'm sure they'd make room.

he hasn't made punk a second fight offer, idiot. He's saying this so that he doesn't sound like hes being an asshole.

Whether you agree with it or not, a lot of people want to see Punk do well, or get his ass handed to him. As far as the UFC is concerned, If you don't like it,
tough shit. They aren't gonna throw millions of dollars down the drain because you think life isn't fair.
 
He will keep giving him fights as long as he is still a draw. If he wins, that's just an added bonus.
 
CM Punk was Dana's friend before he quit wrestling. If you're friends with the boss you get preferential treatment, what's hard to understand?

This is the fight business. If you make lots of money, you don't have to run your business professionally. Even Bellator is being unscrupulous with all its freakshow matches.

they already gave a lot of money to him, at least one fight is resonable from a businness pov.
 
As long as he's drawing and making them money.
The freak show's demands have to be met until then.
 
CM Punk will never fight in the UFC. He'll be back to WWE pretty soon. It's tragic what he's doing to the Gall kid.
 
Man this wwe market must be really interesting if Dana keeps spreading his legs like this for this dude.

If this shit helps the sport I'm all for it, UFC already a freakshow anyway.

Why would the UFC not give him more fights if he's a draw? $ is the end game.
 
This CM Punk thing is a disaster, the dude has never done any sport before its a joke. At least Brock had wrestled at an extremely high level for years and James Toney was washed up but at least had decades of boxing experience.

From all account his training has been lackluster and injury prone, I remember a report saying he had lost every single one of his "test" fights/sparring matches and no one seemed to refute it.

He's going to get moped up, and as time goes on he seems to realize this as well. He's become much less boisterous and I wouldn't be surprised if he never fights and simply says he was too old/injured/etc.
 
I feel like he's going to get his ass whooped so easily.
