Smh Artem hasn't "killed" anyone since he arrived in the UFC. All his wins are decisions and Jackson has a legit striking background.

I'd have to think of examples where someone didnt fight well and Dana defended them. I think the Anderson situation was also a weird one. Seems like they were scuffling over money or something at the time. It's worth considering that the guy is 1-1 in MMA. Bit harsh to have high expectations of him. But I agree you might have a point. Good post.

Who are these good fighters he's knocked out?

Jackson is not exactly a great boxer but he has fought professionally and he has a 9 inch reach advantage. Artem is a brawler without power, Jackson moves pretty well and has a decent jab that's all you need in striking against a guy that much smaller if he doesn't have good head movement or footwork (artem doesn't) and doesn't have huge power (artem doesn't).

I don't watch reality TV. But in his fights he plods forward, he does well when people come after him or trade with him. that's why Jackson wants to fight him, he has the perfect style to give Artem problems in stand up at least.

Artem stood toe to toe for 5 rounds with Cub Swanson, Jackson got rocked by CM Punk.

Cub was coming after him trying to knock him out, not sticking and moving. And Cub dominated that fight, Artem is really tough. But Jackson has the exact wrong style for him. If he stood and traded with Artem, then Artem would win for sure. But that's not what he would do, he would use his reach and stay away from him.

He couldn't stay away from a CM Punk right hand coming from a mile away. He couldn't stay away from the worst double leg in the history of MMA. But now he would stay away from a guy who gives competition to top 5 world class fighters? Okay.

he was goofing around, when he wanted to move you could see he could.

Lobov didn't give Cub competition he was just tough enough to last 5 rounds, and it was a completely different kind of fight. There is a huge difference in fighting a guy who is coming after you looking for a KO and fighting a guy with a massive reach advantage who is just hitting you from the outside and moving away. Such a massive reach advantage (and the number is actually misleading it's worse than a normal 9 inch reach advantage because Lobov's arms are so short compared to his ) is very hard to overcome if the other guy wants to fight from the outside and move.

I said Lobov would beat him if he fought smart and just went for the takedown.

This is hilarious. Jackson does not move well at all. Punk was able to hit him before he gassed. Gall rocked him with the first punch he threw. The only thing Jackson has shown is he knows how to throw a basic punch. He's a complete can. The guys Artem knocked out on TUF are all better fighters than him. So is Ishihara. These are real fighters. Take Julian Erosa for instance. 6 feet tall, longer reach than Jackson, and a way better fighter. Artem knocked him out cold.

He was clowing against CM Punk. He moves well enough to stay away from Lobov who doesn't move forward well and has zero head movement. You guys don't realize how much of an advantage having such a ridiculous reach advantage is in striking. I don't think he's nearly as good of a fighter as Lobov, but that's different than saying who would win head to head if it were a stand up only fight.

I already said Lobov could take him down and beat him if he fought smart.
