Make an example out of Conor to try and put him in place.

You fucked your own card. WMMA shit show headlining, DC wrestlefucking spider like a pussy, aldo and frankie snore fest rerun, Cain vs another Edmond can - the only interesting fight was bork but you gave him a matchup that forced him to fight too safe.

Definetly weird to see Nunes in the main event of UFC 200, but to be fair to WMMA i actually thought she put on a pretty beastly performance. Way better than say Brock or DC.

Calling Tate vs. Nunes 'the main event" was a joke. Clearly the people were there to see Lesnar vs. Hunt. Lesnar got by far the biggest pop of the night. For all practical purposes Brock won the main events of UFC 100 and UFC 200.
 
UFC 202 IS THE REAL 200.
 
They tried to set up Meisha vs Ronda and it blew up in their face :D

Brock/Mir 2 wasn't that last fight at UFC 100 either fwiw
 
It wasn't a great idea for the main event but Jon jones didn't help that.
 
You can't have a really big event without a really big fight. Just a mess of 'big' fights made it feel disjointed. WMMA as a main event is a big no-no too.

I actually think you're exactly right on the event being disappointment. And if Conor is smart -- he will mention it over and over again. And if UFC 202 sells like we all expect, and if he defeats Nate, he is going to have a huge edge in negotiations against the UFC. This could be a big win for Conor.
 
Most of their plans do backfire these days, no wonder they want to sell.

lol, seriously, she was the only fighter in the top three fights to win the favor of the Just Bleed God.

and she did it in impressive fashion, to boot.
 
Momentum on the prelims was insane.

Main card slowed down a bit, which is natural with the bigger names who have more to lose.
 
This is what i love about sherdog who only cares about names and title implication fights as all good fights on paper end up with pretty mediocre fights and sherdog all complains about how boring a card it was and when ever lower tier fighters are on fight night cards most posters say this is a crap card not worth watching and then the fights end up being barn burners and everyone calls it the best card of the year .
me personally i never judge a card until after the fights have happened

This shitty card will hurt them.

Conor can carry a card on his own, but the UFC brand got hurt tonight.

UFC are trying to prove the brand is bigger than the stars, that is pretty much bullshit at this point. Conor/Brock/ronda are the big sellers.

They somehow forsee that Conor is going to be a bitch about the presser...
Jon gets popped.....the ultimate Zuffa masterplan...
I'm not impressed by how Zuffa runs the UFC but don't act like Conor didn't contribute to all this shitshow....
