Dana and Colby go to the Oval Office to meet President Trump.

You already knew the real godfather of MMA doesn't care to see no fake ass interim champion.

But but but but but but Colby is a superstar...Trump is dying to see him. Whole America likes him.

Literally 99% in America never heard of him and never will.

I don't understand how Colby went from promoted star to thrown under the bus overnight, it can't just be because he couldn't take a short notice fight, there must be more to it.
I understand: money.

Colby, like a lot of people, made the mistake of thinking getting big like Conor in this business was easy and that all you have to do is talk trash. Unfortunately, it's not easy at all, and if he ain't producing ratings for Dana and accepting pennies, then he will be on the outs.

Rally fucking pathetic from Dana. Here's how they should have done it.

[1] Forget giving Till the fight and stick with Colby.

[2] Take Colby, and his belt, to the White House. Get a photo with Trump.

[3] WME use their contacts to blow up social media with the photo, and get Covington on talk shows talking about how he is the best, loves Trump, etc.

[4] Hype the shit out of a Woodley fight in October/November. Spin it as Colby the Trump supporter is coming to save the WW division from zzzz SJW Tyron Woodley. Perfect dynamic in which the identity of the face and the heel will differ depending on one's political views.

[5] Add an angle in which Colby spends a week training in Russia and get some tips (collusion, one may say) on how to beat Woodley from top Russian fighters.

[6] Add an angle in which Tyron does a video burying Trump, Trump voters, and everything associated with their culture. Praising Robert Mueller and James Comey. WME put their muscle behind it and make this thing go viral.

[7] If Colby wins, you have someone to build around as a major star. Take him back to the White House, and repeat the photo opportunity with Trump. If Woodley wins, then you do an immediate rematch on the grounds that Colby is the victim of a rigged witch hunt orchestrated by '13 Angry Democrats'.

Promotional gold.

In what fucking universe is it smarter to do a random fight with Till and sacrifice this potentially once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to align an MMA fight with popular culture? Colby is an organic star, and they don't come along very often.

Nah, Dana is that petty, nothing else.

yeah that's right, I talked about that in other posts. it's interesting that this once again is happening to an woodley opponent. they suddenly get these short notice fights. really disgusting
How's that on Tyron?
He said a while back what his status was and when abouts he wanted to come back. He's the champ. He has the belt.
He's who the UFC and challengers should be building their schedules around if they want his belt.

Scheduling of fights is on the UFC.
Crazy to try and spin it as if Woodley is looking for some unfair advantage. He's not booking the fights.
He fought WB March 4. Maia fought Masvidal May 13 in a 3 round match.
Was Woodley supposed to wait till the end of the year to fight again? And you think the UFC had nothing to do with setting that fight up? They are always pretty damn desperate for main events, and they need title fights for their PPVs.

Colby shouldn't of ran his mouth until he had a sitdown with the UFC on a title unification timeline. When he went into his fight with RDA it was already known that Tyron was ready to defend. Announcing that youre gonna take a break, and that now "Tyron has to do things on my time" was retarded. Obviously, if he wasn't injured in the RDA fight, the UFC were gonna want a quick turnaround.

yeah sure, it just "happened" to be with woodley both times... but I agree on not talking over the ufc

Dana could've invited a UFC champ as a publicity stunt with Trump but he wants all the attention for himself.

Because they tried to promote him by making a fake belt and the event sold poorly and whoever bought it was stuck with a 25 min snoozer hugfest. If the ppv sold well they wouldn't have stripped him in all likelihood, but he played the wwe angle and was unable to deliver. Then he was given a real title shot and declined. Dana sees no use in him since he's neither a draw, nor is he a company man who shows up when needed. There are no mysteries, really. Colby reaped what he sowed. And before we go about this, 'deserving' has got nothing to do with this situation or the WME era, as an interim belt wasn't deserved to begin with.

That would be great, MAGA vs BLM after Woodley loses he can blame the white men and play the victim.

Woodley was already in camp before Masvidal v Maia and pushing to get on the Jones v Cormier card in July. UFC were going to put Woodley v Maia on the August PPV but that got cancelled due to Conor vs Mayweather so the fight was moved to the July card. While Woodley was being a prick pushing for a two month turnaround it wasn't him that caused that to happen.

Taking Conor wouldn't work with Trump's stance on foreigners committing crimes.
Trump would have thrown Cormier out for eating all his fried chicken.

Dana is roaming the halls looking for the next Monica

If a missle hit the Oval office right then, both the UFC and the USA would have a much better chance of surviving.

Two lying, incompetent peices of shit. Key difference: Dana owes all his money to Italian mob, Trump owes his to the Russian mob.
