Since both are Mexican wouldn't that be a civil war, not a world war? lol I know I'm being a dick but I have heard a lot of dumb/funny shit on this PPV tonight.

The Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morales fight of MMA.

Put two Mexicans in there and you got yourself a war. Toe to toe, no backing down, just like two pits inside a cage.

If they were both black would it be racist to say "That was an african world/civil war"?

Yes Kane, if they weren't African.

And meh, he was just excited. He was clearly fucking pumped from that fight still so it's fine.

    Here we go again....

Does being born in American automatically make you a blue eyed blonde? They are American citizens, from Mexican descendance

Here we go again. Just because your skin is "brown" or "tanned" and you are from mexican descendance, you're NOT "Mexican"...

They're both Americans as being born, raised AND living in America.

And it's the same for WASP-"Irish" people. And no I'm not even American but European and I have descendants from different countries and I do feel one billion times closer to the one country I was born, raised and currently living in than the ones I'm "descending" from...

It's like Marcus Davis being called the Irish Hand Grenade. He was born in Maine.

When a large wave of folks from one ethnic group immigrate, they often retain their ethnicity as a strong identifier for at least two generations . It's nothing to be two worried over.

We get it, minorities in the U.S want to claim a guy that was born and raised somewhere as being represented from another country. I love how they can have the best of both worlds. Have all the freedoms and lifestyle of an american but still be considered from another country. Let me tell you this right now. Mexico did not nurture, raise and put him through college wrestling and train him to be an mma champion. Please, if he's so mexican, move to mexico and see how long he can remain champ for. We wont miss a guy that everyone calls a mexican champion.

If he's a mexican champion, forrest griffin was an irish champion.

And jon jones is a Nigerian Champion. Chris weidman is a german champion.

Ok so who comes up with the "at least 2 generations rule" and who follows it and who doesnt?

If u are born and raised somewhere, you are of that NATIONality. Ethnicity is a bit fuzzier. Mexico had NOTHING to do with him being champ other than its where his parents are from.

Imagine a kid whose parents are from the rough streets of Compton, CA and then moving to beverly hills and having a baby born and raised in beverly hills. Grows up, raised and fed in beverly hills and then the first thing everyone says is he's a tough compton kid. And comes out to eazy E and throwing up west side gangs signs. The people in compton would be claiming him as their own, but he really belongs to becerly hills.
