When Woodley just had Robbie up against the fence, Dan immediately stepped in and broke them up. Giving Robbie little time to work his clinch and TD game. Dan also did this at the Vitor and Rumble fight, standing them up prematurely when Rumble had the top position. This causes the momentum of the fight to be shifted. Rogan even both time question his breakup.

Rogan also thinks there should be no standups or breakups ever, so citing what he thought about that is pretty moot.

It just prevented Woodley from taking Robbie down. Was an advantage to Robbie.

No one was working that's why Dan broke it up.

Dan Miragliotta has absolutely no business being anywhere remotely near an octagon but I don't think this is an example why

Yeah that was surprisingly dumb. They were barely there for 5 secs. Woodley may have landed that punch sooner or later, so the outcome would probably the same. Hard to call that, but the separation was unnecessary.

Eh, I personally didn't mind it. Rather it be too quick than letting them clinch for two minutes doing nothing

Motherfucker they were clinched for less than 10 seconds. Is this MMA or Bum Fights?

    Dan sucks.

He did the same type of garbage in the Vitor - Rumble fight.

    (except with takedowns....which was worse)

Rumble got Vitor down a few times and Dan stood them up almost immediately

I wouldn't say that this favored Woodely though. It favored Lawler and Lawler lost anyway

That was a very questionable break by Miragliotta but if anything that benefited Robbie, not Tyron. He wanted the TD.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. The ref could have sneezed and it might have changed the entire fight. Every little thing that happens will cause the next reaction and it's like an endless chain of events. A fight is a fight and you have to be prepared for every possible moment.

I don't know. It was a bit too quick, but they were obviously in a stalemate position.

It was more than 10 seconds and they were literally doing nothing. They weren't even jockeying for control.

I had no problem with it at all.

Neither guy was trying anything , neither wanted to be there , Robbie didn't want to be Wrasslin & Woodley did not want his back to the cage , i guarantee both guys were happy.

That was a weird separation and a bad call, but I think it helped Lawler more than Woodley.

He's trying to help woodley cause he knows about the bad cardio in the community. If woodley kept on pressing and grappling like that, he wouldnt be as fast and explosive. Big dan was lookin out for is own kind.
