Never been a fan of Hendo and I was rooting for DC this weekend, but you gotta have huge respect for this guy.

43 years old and fought Evans, Vitor, Shogun and DC between June 2013 and May 2014. That's 4 times in a year, I don't think a lot of UFC fighters did this.

I hope he gets a win and retires.

Yeah he's a beast for sure. That's a pretty impressive list too.

And during the middle of it the UFC wanted to cut his pay so drastically he was offended.

He's the toughest SOB to fight in the sport. Nothing but respect for the man.

And in every single one of those fights he was brought in to lose for the opponent to make a name off of him.

Props to him for at least winning one of them.

    I'm not a fan either.

But i also have huge respect for Hendo. He's one of the most durable guys to ever walk on planet earth.

Also the competition he's been facing is simply elite

I miss the days when fighters weren't Nancy's about "having enough time to prepare". Everyone wants half a year to get ready for 1 fucking guy, but old school guys like Hendo don't give a fuck.

Respect. Hendo's kind is a dying breed. The new generation is full of game planners that whine about needing longer training camps.

Exactly there's no shame in losing to those men. Now retire before you start losing to no-name fighters on the prelims.

Very true and Hendo deserves praise, as for others, Cormier and Lawler come to mind, as I believe both have fought 4 times in 12 to 13 months as well. The 2 fights per year guys need to step up.

I wish the UFC would give Hendo a lesser opponent or 2 to get some wins. Not saying put him in against cans, but damn, he is fighting top 5 guy after top 5 guy.

Move him back to 185 and have him fight someone like Tim Boetsch or CB Dollaway.

Then when they lose they blame overtraining.

I know Hendo doesn't like to cut weight but didn't he weigh in under 200 lbs for DC? I think he can make MW IMO.

Agree 100%. Very few of the newer fighters have this mentality now.
