He will never be UFC champ again as long as The Chris and Luke are still on the roster

Agree to disagree. Anderson has nothing left to prove.

It would surely be some epic shit if he could ever become champ again, like when Ronaldo won the 2002 world cup after blowing his knee and getting discredited.

agree to disagree to the aggreeing to disagreeing...Anderson may very well have to prove something to himself.

agree to the disagreeing on the topic: Anderson is proven.

No matter what happens from this day forward Silva will always be a legend and a legit badass. He has done more in the sport than most fighters will ever dream of. Bisping is going to see that even a "past his prime" Spider is still capable of putting him away.

silva is the fucking goat, even with the flukey losses to chris weidman he was way past his prime at the tender age of 38 lol, the dude has nothing to prove. wins and streaks and records aside, his style, come-from behind victories and ruthlessly technically badass ko's and finishes are going to be remember much longer than any other fighter imo

    however

i can see him being champ again still

I thought 7 - 1 was pretty epic in the last World Cup. Do you agree ?

Silva has already proven that he's the best middleweight of all time and, at minimum, one of the best fighters of all time. If he has anything to prove to himself, I'd imagine that he's still able to fight at a level he's satisfied with. I don't think he's necessarily thinking of the belt at this point. I think if he starches Bisping, then he'll give the belt some thought.

Been a longtime since I've read so many nice and respectful comments about Anderson. It's good see on sherdog.
Only thing Anderson has prove is to himself and no one else.

I don't think he means it in the same sense you're taking it. He means Anderson wants to prove it to himself, like a goal.

If Anderson feels he must prove something then damn is he a weak little bitch person.
I thought his title reign was weird, all the fights looked weird, even when he lost but whatever, he was champ forever, got beat when he was about 40 years old...and still must prove things?
I hope its just Dan hardy or some stupid prefight crap, because honestly if this is for real then Anderson is a very weak heart guy.
I hope he does it for the thrill, and that it's his job. I'll be tuning in on Saturday!

I think they should add a feature where you can remove dick suckers from posting in your thread.

its simple.if he still wants to be the champ again he has to prove that he still got it.if he is just fighting because he just wants to then yeah,he has nothing to prove.he is a legend.

and my take on the ped stuff,i think he has been clean all his career but took some supplements to heal faster after the leg break.

Always liked watching Dan fight! He lost me when he spent his last day of training, visiting Bruce Lee's grave.
Sucks he had to retire so young!
