Random AF. Don't know if this thread will be around for a while. BCS is my favorite ongoing series. DP is credited as "Gang Enforcer" in newest episode.

    *Spoilers*

Pretty sure he gets mowed down in a gun fight. That's his only scene

Keith Jardine was in a Breaking Bad episode too, makes sense that they get their thugs from Albuquerque's MMA scene.

It’s not as exciting as Breakinng Bad, but it’s still a good show.

MMA fighters just seem to pop up every where. I remember catching Jamie Yager on sons of Anarchy in the background. Impossible to miss his afro.

Funnily enough I caught the Equalizer 2 this week and Cerrone popped out of no where. I already knew Arlovski was in it from the trailer. Cerrones cameo was typical blink and you'll miss him bs.

Real slow burner but it's worth a watch imo.

So this must have been the gunfight at the beginning of the episode? I'll have to rewatch.

Its a real real slow burner but imo not in a sophisticated way as f.e. "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" but in that you get the point they want to bring to you and after that you get at least 5min of unnecessary filler hammering it into your brain so the last retard gets it. F.e. Jimmys girlfriend some time needs to get a new client asap. What could be done in mere seconds gets dragged out forever.

Intelligent slow shows f.e. like The Wire , The Corner, Mad Men..etc. dont do that. The reason is that there is not much plot. They have to play every bit to the death.

Acting is great no question and some scenes are absolutely worth it!
    I`d give it a solid 6/10.

I find the nacho, Gus, and mike storyline more interesting. But I think the point for the excess filler because there is already an end to the show which we saw in breaking bad so they will probably slow the pace until their final season and then sprint to the finale.

Don't you guys think it is kinda ironic that most of them mma fighters that appear in movies...they get beat the fuck up by a guy they would smush in real life....

    Jardine, Arlovski, Sem Schilt...

Ok The King of Queens episode with Hendo, Randy, Rampage, Trigg...was as real as it

I also like the Gus, Mike and Nacho part and Jimmys brother storyline was also great. Its just that they take a plot that would work in lets say 1 season and drag it out over 4 seasons. Jimmy doesnt like his new job because he is a petulant child oh lets make a 10min montage about how he hates it by filming the air conditioner. There are flashes of brilliance like Howards final talk with Chuck. That was precise and interesting (love it!) . Or Chucks final revealing talk with Jimmy.

Imo the best example about slow but fitting pacing is my aforementioned "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy".

I was active on IMDB forum. There were some great posters and we had interesting discussions but sadly they killed it.

And I am loosing interest more and more as most of new stuff is agenda driven like a stalinistic GULAG. Liberal Hollywood nowadays is sadly an intellectual desert were it once was a cultural stronghold.

A consistent series that flew under the radar was imo Southland. Maybe worth a look for you and regarding "artsy" how about a "Young doctors notebook". Brilliant in some parts you just have to accept to watch a mostly worthless human being.
