Im mixing a daft punk tribute show right now. Whats not to like about daft punk? Clean beats, good focus, musical...its hard for me to find faults in daft punk, though I don't own any of their albums.

Man, I loved their Around the World video with the choreographed dancers. They were some great innovators. Interstellar 5555 was an epic music movie.

RAM is the album of the decade for the 2010's.

Some of their older stuff is too repetitive for casual listening. Otherwise they are amazing.

Their older stuff is very repetitive. The newer stuff is good but something makes me think they are a little hackish. I really loved Random Access Memories but they aren't doing anything special. Just average pop music with a gimmick. Again, I still like it though.

Homework is my shit. Cot damn that album was slick

Top band, Daft Punk have been setting the pace for years.

Big fan of this video. From reading the comments it's a short film which a fan edited over a Daft Punk track.

Well, it's well done dancing music that is clearly better than most mainstream pop. It's devoid of any depth and emotion though.

Didn't get into daft punk till December of last year. Just didn't enjoy it, now I love a couple albums ram and self titled I believe. I ate some shrooms and couldn't help but dance in the shower.

The band "the do" covered "instant crush" which I love and because of that I looked into daft punk, the rest is very recent history...

I somewhat disagree on RAM, I think it’s outstanding. There are some pretty progressive bits, like the longtracks. I also love how they adapt their music to the features, say Panda Bear and Chilly Gonzales.

On The Weeknd‘s Starboy album there are two tracks that stand out, and those are the Daft Punk features. I think that illustrates the difference between ordinary pop music and DP‘s work.

I might be pretty biased though because huge fanboy since late 90‘s.

a lot of daft punk stuff is too repetitive for me

The movie Daft Punk Unchained gave me a lot of respect for them. I like that they shun being typical stars and just want the music to represent what they are.

Their Pyramid show at Lollapallooza in 2007 was one of the most visually stunning concerts I've ever seen and it was a total fucking dance party their whole set. Definitely a fan.
