http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2016/5/2...gregor-i-want-a-boxing-fight-on-the-undercard
There seems to be continuous developments on the much talked about, yet highly ambitious Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match.
This past week, a report surfaced about Mayweather supposedly offering McGregor a sum of $50 million to make the fight happen. The event would be scheduled for New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.
The report adds that while the amount has been laid out on the table, Mayweather has not yet begun talks with the McGregor camp.
The mere idea of a boxer vs. MMA fighter meeting in a squared ring, let alone a super fight between two of the biggest draws in their respective sports, is bound to be a lucrative spectacle, to say the least. Which is why it would be understandable for some fighters to want in on the action as well.
Most recently, Invicta FC featherweight champion and UFC fighter Cris Cyborg expressed her intent to be part of the undercard, should the fight, by some twist of fate, end up taking place.
Hey @FloydMayweather if @TheNotoriousMMA Fights you In Boxing I want a Boxing Fight on The event2. #mma vs #boxing u pick The girl! #tmt

According to TMZ, Cyborg already has a boxing coach who will "have her ready."

Full respect to Cyborg, she puts her money where her mouth is and competes at high levels in other combat sport disciplines. If this card does get put together, which I really hope it does, I believe she can give a good account of herself.
