After watching his match vs Diaz, I am now positive about possible fight outcome vs Chris Weidman. Way much stronger and definitely faster than Diaz, much better in offensive grappling, I don't have any doubts that CW would finish Silva again. Even more, it would be painful to watch (this coming from AS fan)...

Also, after hearing what AS said in the post fight interview (about going back to his family, and talk possible retirement), I am positive that he is aware of that too. There won't be any title fight 'cause AS doesn't want it, and we might see him only vs lesser competition/big names who pose no threat to him (i.e. Michael Bisping).

I don't think Anderson beats Bisping. Or CB.

prob cuz Weedman is the greatest MW of all time in the making. Anderson knows this, he already bowed down and admitted it. no need for more brain or leg trauma.

I think I agree, but I also think I'd like to see it before I put any nails in his coffin. It was his first fight back.

Andy still has enough power to deal with someone like CB. I just think it makes more sense for him to retire now. He came back after a devastating injury and won a fight against a big name opponent.

Time to hang em up and go out on a win.

the fact that diaz was outstriking andy in the clinch was most surprising.

They better fix the making then because the champ is starting to look more and more like a glass doll with all those injuries

I seriously wish him to recover obviously

The fight would take 4 years to make with Chris' injury record

Further proof that in MMA all it takes is one less than great fight and you're deemed a can. So sad.

But anyway even if Silva-Weidman 3 was made by the time Weidman actually steps into the cage uninjured Anderson would be a pensioner.
