So I am a lean 166lbs but for wrestling season I was hoping to cut to 152. I know atleast 3pounds is water weight. Just alittle note my weight tends to go up and down in fact last summer weighed 185 then droped down to 155 was not even trying to cut weight I gain alot then loose alot. ( In case any of you are wondering doctor said everything seems normal)BTW this is my first time making this big a cut.

How fast did you drop from 185 to 155?

It was over the course of about a month and a half for some reason I seem to eat less during winter time but stuff my face during summer I guess. I wasn't tryin to cut weight tho
 
Well then unless you've grown significantly since, you can easily get down there again. The difference is, this time it may have to be on purpose. instead of just eating as you please, you may have to pay attention to what you're eating.

Honestly its kinda tough to tell anything by this post.

First how old are you? HS?

Without knowing all the details I would say do a test cut to see what you can safely get down to if you are a HS kid I dont recomend that I would just say get as strong and explosive as you can and wrestle at whatever weight your body wants to be at.
 
im not sure about you but at our school we had to weigh in and do a hydration test and they gave us papers saying how low we can get per season, is it the same as yours?
 
I've been wrestling for two years in middle school
and im going on my second year in high school as a sophmore. I love the sport and the trick to the hydration test: cut that damn water wieght put the sweat suit on go in the suana... and when time comes around for the pee in the cup, take a little water from the toilet and put it in cup. The PH monitor they test with can't tell the difference between urine and water;)

-just for legal terms, I don't do this ;)
 
well the pH test strips that were used with my alpha weigh ins could tell the difference between water and piss. hence i ate one salad a day with water for 7 days. Then finding out the tournaments dont give a shit about the new rule, anger lol
