Hello you all,

I'd gladly ask for your advice/tips regarding the following mather;

I've been boxing for a few years now and it's time for me to step into the ring and get an amateur record going. I've been lifting weights for a long time and am currently walking around at 205lbs at 6 ft 2.Body fat should be around 13/14% (came from 210).

I'm not muscled enough to max out the cruiserweight limit at a low body fat% and i love my reach advantage i have against most light heavy's. So light heavy is the goal.

I've made the cut to single digit % before but only for aesthetic purposes (endurance etc didnt mather then).

Im cutting now for a week (healthy food; rice chicken vegetables etc) and the fat is melting off. I however allready notice that i start gassing earlier in sparring.

So my question for you guys;
How do you time your meals to optimaly be avaiable for training? (right now i have my big meal 3 hours before training otherwise i puke). I feel like im doing something wrong in the loading>?

Or is this normal for dieeting and should i just stick with it till im cofortable at the weight?

Gassing in sparring, have you inceased the intensity since starting your diet? Really gassing in sparring is more likely due to breathing. Exhaling on each strike, while not inhaling anything in is the sure fire way to gas your self out. Even if you have the best VO2 in the world, it still wouldn't help if you're doing that.

For the diet, it could be you're eating too little, do you happen to know how much calories you're intaking?
For me I eat 3 large meals a day, I usually finish my 2nd meal 2 hours before training.
