I know he won TUF, but his professional record is 3-4. He's 1-3 in the UFC and has lost his last 3...

I didn't see the fight but read the PBP. Yeah, the dude is done, at least in the UFC, at least for now. Too much too soon.

Colton was kept mostly for his Army creds for the 'Fight for the Troops' type of stuff. Now that Stann is gone, Dana needs a few token soldier to play that card. Because of that he MIGHT have a last chance... but if his last name was Ramirez with no Army credit, he would be pink slip material.

Colton needs to fight often in the small league just to put his style together and rebuild his confidence. Same for Mike Ricci, too weak for the UFC but can knock a few low level guys in the beer leagues.

He's been finished in his last three fights so I don't know why they would kept him.

After that cheap shot in his first fight on TUF, i wanted them to cut him right there...

3-4 yikes, that would be horrible even for a WMMA fighter in the UFC.

He should be done. I don't see him making his way back, either.

Would be shocking if he wasn't cut. I'd be surprised if Bellator takes him; maybe WSOF will. Thought who knows? Coker as the head of Bellator is an unknown quantity right now.

With a record like that it would lead me to believe that mma is not as easy as Colton made it sound...

I say give him one more, but given his boring style and the general dislike for him that most fans have, he's probably cut.

I don't know how anyone can like this guy after the TUF fake glove touch and the "Fighting is easy" bullshit.
When you have no striking AND you get outgrappled when you get to grapple, it's pretty clear the UFC is too much for you.

As a TUF winner and a guy with little experience I say give him one more. He deserves one more than normal for winning the show.

This... Plus, he hasn't shown me any vast improvement since the show, and if this is the case, even if he is able to get a win, it will most likely be by way of controlling his opponent to an uneventful decision.
