Panic-wrestling is when you start diving for legs when it's not even your forte, like Conor did against Nate, complete last ditch attempt to survive. Curtis was definitely trying to strike because I think he is genuinely trying to improve, that said he is a collegiate wrestler and nobody should be surprised that he took down someone with zero ground game.
